Use 45 degree angles then it is simple.

That would be easy. The 45s on here were attempt number one. The height and depth of the desk are non negotiable to what I what which dictates the angle of the side panel. All of which are done until you want to mount rack gear under the shelf and need that angle to match the side panel And satisfy a specific height under the shelf.

I'm limited on space this year while I save for a house next year. In the meantime I'm doing this as a puzzle to try to stay sharp

I HATED geometry... it was my nemesis. Which is strange because I feel like all we did was proofs and I liked logic class in college which was essentially the same but without the numbers.
