I stopped closely following baseball in 1985. I was a huge Yankees (I hope you can forgive me) but I went to Germany in 1981 I knew every player and their stats. When I came back in 1985, George Steinbrenner had traded away almost the entire team I knew. Then with the length of the games until the pitch clock it became a real bore to me. Probably TMI I know but needed to get it out there. PHEW!!
