I'm currently contemplating quitting.I’m an avid member of church but they won’t let me sing.
I love singing. I had even started doing some of the cantor/solos.
But we got a new director, and it's not fun with him. And there's a new singer who sits by me. She's decided we're besties. (We're not) Shes very loud, doesn't listen, and can't really sing.
And 2 weeks ago I walked into a political discussion that really turned my stomach.
So this has been rough.

Sorry it's like that. I try to keep quiet and avoid or steer conversations away from politics with my social groups... It's healthier that way.

I just got done reading all the stuff that went on here during the day. Now I'm tired and I may just sit and read for a little while and then head on off to bed.

When my daughter was going to college, there were a rash of assaults on campus and one female who retaliated back with pepper spray (for crying out loud) was expelled for using it on her would-be attacker. So. I bought her and all her dorm mates water pistols...neon transparent toy water pistols which were not banned on campus ...and their own bottle of Clorox bleach...also not banned for doing laundry right?
Couple squirts to the body and face: eyes shut involuntarily and their clothes are marked and the smell of chlorine doesn't immediately wash away.
