38 here. I'm quite alright with and enjoying my middle aged years actually! Sure, I do miss the days of going out all night and doing it again the next day. They were a blast! And sure, sometimes I need the swift kick in the ass reminder when I'm on day 3 of a hangover that oh, yeah, I can't do that anymore lol. But I quite enjoy the simpler things in life now. Like calm, quiet mornings with a fresh hot cup of coffee in hand, listening to the birds and thinking, pondering, reminiscing...yup, middle age is quite grand in my opinion

Love it. That's awesome for you guys. Eventually, when the kids are older I'd like to have something like that. Or at least, when I'm retired. Breakfast, coffee and shooting the shit with my old fart friends or brother at the same diner or café every week. You keep enjoying that as long as you can!

Still closer to 50 than 60, but started family late, so am in prime Dadding years, meaning nights out are very limited.

Hell, I have to be up in six hours to take swimmers to practice!

He has to stay for observation, not sure how long. He had a minor stroke. But he seems to be doing fine & everything was stable. I just got home & I think I’m going to pass on the wine tonight & just go to bed!

Oh my, I can't even wrap my head around that concept yet! While I want my kids to grow up, get married and have kids of their own someday, a day I very much look forward to. I just need to get them all out of diapers first!
