The Darker Side of Nothing.

She felt his hands tremble and she turned slightly to look at him. "Are you alright, love?" she asked softly, her voice laced with concern.

Nodding softly his eyes would be closed to hide the glowing blue hue.
"You have no idea what you d-do to me..." He stammered...

"Are you. . . suppressing the urges?" she asked gently, looking at his face with her violet eyes. "You know that's not good for you. . . "

As his beautiful raven haired Lass lead him into the dappled sunlight, they took a winding way through the trees. ''Aye Midnight will be hungry too...'' Reaching the path his burly arm wraps about her shoulders. The morning was bright and airy as the birds sang, the forest creatures were curious and stop to watch them.

He shook his head and pulled from her.
"Its not that bad..." He stood slowly and walked away keeping his back to her as he did.

The leaves crunched softly beneath their feet, she sighed happily as a flash of white came into view, it nestled behind a thicket of trees. Once close enough, the cottage like structure could be seen. With little stained glass windows and a large red stable behind. A tiny walkway littered with wildflowers lead them to her front door from the path.
"It isn't much... but its home."

She sat there for a moment before getting up out of the tub and wrapping a towel around her, followed him to where he sat, his head in his hands. She sat down behind him and wrapped a comforting arm around his shoulders. "Love," she said gently. "If you need to get the urges out, let me know, and I will help you, okay? I'm not going to turn you away because of them. . ."

Spying her quaint little white cottage and the way the stained glass windows sparkled was lovely. With the red stable in the background, wild flowers along the walkway, the scene was like right out of a Fairytale. As down the walkway they went arm in arm, stopping he smiles looking into her eyes. ''Aye...it's our home and it's a lovely sight.''

He said in a slightly irritated tone, though his voice was still soft.
"I can't..... Don't you get that... Sweetheart you'll die..."
He couldn't look at her, or even raise his head.

"How do you know that for sure, sweetie?" she asked just as softly. She rubbed his back. "You're stronger than you make yourself to be. . ."

"Because..." He started slowly.
"Its happened before... She died.. just fucking.died right before... we finished..."
Tears ran down his cheeks.
"I sucked the***** from her."

She held him close and let his tears run their course. "I'm sorry, love. And I understand, believe me. . . I just don't want to see you in this much pain. . . It hurts me, love. . ."

He sighed softly after a few moments the tears dried. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close to him. Her heart pounding through her chest into his.
"I can't lose you."

"I know, love," she said, almost crying herself now. Her body trembled a little underneath his arms, her heart pounding rapidly.

"How can you say that... When knowing a simple kiss could end your life." He looked at her now, his eyes much softer than they earlier were.

"I. . . Can't explain it. . .I just feel that way, love. Honestly, without you, I'd probably continue on with my old lifestyle. . . And be alone. . . But I'm not alone now. . . "

He traced her cheek and sighed softly. He ran his fingers down her jaw, then her neck... He dared not ventured any further.
"I want to show you how I feel..."

Gently he picked her up and pulled her form to him, their bodies then rested tangled on his bed.
"Dream of us... and I'll be there shortly."

The dream.would start flickery and dark, but within a moments time it would appear clear as she rested on the bed. Blithe would cup her cheek softly and press his lips to hers carefully.
