The Dragon Claw (Closed)

The walk through the forest seemed to take a long time, but it was still dark when they were near the lair of the other vampires.

“We need to stop for awhile and wait for dawn,” Jos said.

She sighed a little bit and didn't know what to say or do so she just nodded and relaxed pressing her bag against the wall and slid down so harassed touch the ground sitting down and relaxing. She was in her own zone unsure how this would go.

Dawn finally came. Jos took Rosie's hand. “It will be ok. The other vamps will be asleep.” It still took them an hour to find the caves in the hill. They secured a silver chain on each coffin of which there were 21. “These vamps will bother no one again,” said Jos.

She felt that this was way too easy these vampires had most likely an idea that one day someone would come for him but here they were every last one with a sliver chain, shaking her head. "This was to.." she didn't get a chance to finish the sentence because she felt her since is kick up she twirled around quickly on your feet and your blade ended up finding out the neck of somebody that was in there watching and being very quiet. "It's a trap!" She yelled

As Jos fought, he called to the others, “Hurry to the sunlight. The other vampires will not follow us there.” He fought side by side with Rosie as they drew closer and closer to the light.

She felt him grab her by the hand and run but just before they got into the sun she stopped dead forcing hand contact she shook her head. "No" she said said simply. "They will just keep coming." She looked down as her dagger morphed into a double ended spear. In that moment she heard nothing accept the sound of her own heart beat and breath. She looked behind her seeing a group of vampires coming right for her, then looked back at Jos. She twirled around gracefully on her feet the spear cutting the head off one, when she pulled back she stabbed one in the heart. She panted loudly.

Jos was surprised by the appearance of the spear in Rosie's hand. He didn't realize she had that ability. Her fighting skills were amazing.

“Remember your voice, Rosie. It is your greatest weapon.” He signaled to all the vampires with him, and they all put fingers in their ears.

She saw even more she panted her weapon vanished out of no where and before she knew it she closed her eyes ignoring everything, her breathing was soft and simple but her breathing started to think about everything. She heard a voice inside her head and it wasn't Jos it was a woman she allowed the conversation to fill Jos's head so he knew what was going on. She then saw a woman and she was all black more like a smokey figure.

"It's over Rose, your finished..Your Mine Now" She heard the cackle, she clenched a finger and spoke so all heard.

"You will never Win"

"And Way Is That" She asked angry

"Because your alone and I am not..." She growled and as she did a red aura could be seen and she then remembered what Jos once told her.

"Let go, Unleash Your power Rose, No Fear..." She heard his words as if he just spoke them, blood came from her hand as she opened up her eyes and the aura started to burn brightly around her. She looked over at Jos and heard the woman laugh.

"Let Go...." She said to herself Her breathing started to get until finally her arms were out beside her and she screamed so loudly that the ground began to shake, she was on fire as the vampires started to turn into ash. When her anger was over she collapsed to one knee and her fist on the ground panting they were all dead.

Jos knelt beside Rosie. Her face was strained, and she looked exhausted. He put his arms under her and lifted her up. “You have even more power than I expected.”

He carried her back toward the forest with his people following. “Thank you Rosie, without you we would all have been destroyed.”
