Shim laid on her back holding her ribs, she was gasping for air and seemed that she was hanging on by a thread

"Shim... Can you hear me?"

Shim began to slowl open her eyes, Fin expected thats she would think that he was one of her solders that stole some dragons armor. (much to her dismay of course)

"Fin... Where... where am I?"

"How did you know it was me?"

"Being the only human I know to have ice blue eyes, says alot... And that you are the only one that Calls me by my middle name... Plus you're the only one that looks my age even though I'm 18 and you're over 250 ears old"

She tried to sit up but the pain was too much for her "Hey! Don't trie to move! Who did this to you?"

"Some knite... Said he helped begin something called the dragon war..."

"Damn. another knite, and I bet they are the ones that put in that we are all dangerous in the humans heads..." Fin thought, he was finnaly begining to figure things out

"We need to get you some where safe... I just hope that their town wasn't destroyed..." Fin's wings spreaded as he carfully picked up Shim, and flew off

But behind a tree lurking was some one, (or something for that matter...) was watching Fin. "I got him now.. You'll be my first kill!!!"

Kaikish

"Good idea my friend. Let us show these humans why we dragons are stuff of their legends!" yelled Kaikish

Both he and Brazous walked over to the seige and Brazous asked the human

"Need help turning this sir?" the officer jumped "Where did you two come from! No one was supposed to come back unless your injured! Huh tell me! Who are you!"

Kaikish looked at Brazous "Eh you want to tell him or should I?"

Kaikish

"Why don't you" Brazous said "I'll go 'help' the soldiers maning this thing."

"Alright." Kaikish said "If you need help tell me"

"What are you talking about!" shouted the officer "What unit are you with! No more del- uchhh!" Kaikish had picked up a tree branch and hit the officer in the throat, crushing it.

"Hush! I want to see how my new friend and comrade-in arms fares. "

Brazous

Brazous walks up towards the Catapult , noting how the pitch and anthma is stored. He turns back to his companion. "I have just the thing to help these guys out. " Brazous turns back and lifts a barrel of pitch over his head. He hurls it at the structure of the catapult, covering the wooden structure with the fast burning tarlike substance. "Oops, did I do that? Sorry, let me help get that gunk off the catapult. "

Brazous turns to one of the suprised men standing by and grabs his torch. He lights up the pitch, starting the catapult on fire. One of the men yells at him " Stop that, we need this to stop the dragons from killing us all. You are not helping here at all. " "Little man, you would be suprised how much I am helping here. " Brazous grabs the human, pushing him onto the basket of the catapult. "Say your hellos to your maker when you see him, little one. "

With a shout of pleasure, Brazous snaps the rope on the catapult, sending the screaming human high in the air. His screams of terror are cut short with a rending of sharpened teeth, as one of the attacking dragons takes out a bite of the snack that Brazous sent up to them. Brazous smiles as he watches the catapult burn to the ground. He turns to Kaikish , "Lets go see if we can take out a few more of these. Yes, this is one less, but the others can still hurt our friends. "

Kaikish

Kaikish looked at Brazous
"And here I thought that black dragons didn't have no fun. Next one I'll burn the machine and you kill the guy in charge."

They walked over to the ballista as they were loading a bolt on it.
"Need help? Here let me aim it." And, surprising speed, kaikish pointed the balista at a nearby catupult and fired. The bolt slammed through the machine and killed the two men operating it.

"What are you doing!"shouted the man "That was meant for that blasted grey one! and you just killed some of my friends! Guar-!" And with a quick twist kaikish snaped his neck.

Brazous

Brazous watched what Kaikish did with approval. Brazous was suprised to see how effective this dragon was at taking out the lesser folks. He was glad that he had never run across this dragon on the wrong side of the battlefield. Brazous led Kaikish to the next siege engine in line. Someone in charge of the lesser folks finally noticed that their siege engines were under siege.

Brazous pulled Kaikish into the shadows behind a Ballista. "There are many guards around these engines now. We have put three of them out of commission. Lets see if we can eliminate a few more before we go back to the Dragon Lair. " So saying, Brazous quickly turned the corner and ran towards the nearest catapult. The guards around it turned towards him, readying their weapons.

As he moved closer, Brazous let the magic flow through his veins, his dragon form becoming dominant as he quickly changed back into a full dragon as opposed to a human. The guards all screamed in terror as they saw this behemoth coming to bring them their death in a whisper of acid breath. Brazous watched as a few brave souls sent arrows towards his scale covered belly. He laughed uproarously, smoke coming from his nostrils.

"Behold , worms, the power of dragons as we destroy your wretched machines. " Brazous flattened two more humans under his great bulk as he drew his head back and released a spew of acid over two of the ballistas that were left. He could hear the screams of pain from the men as the flesh ran off their bodies in a river. He used his right front leg to mash a catapult to the ground. He was about to attack the last remaining two siege engines when he noticed a robed human looking towards him and making hand gestures.

Afraid of what this may mean, Brazous decided to distract his human so that Kaikish could finish the job. He sent a stream of acid towards the feet of the mage. The mages concentration broke as his feet were melted away in screams of agony. Brazous took to the air to provide air cover for Kaikish to finish the job.

Kaikish

Kaikish looked at Brazous 'Were is he going?' he thought. Then he noticed the mage. Kaikish snarled, remembering how mages thought that Dragons were their servents. This one was distracted by Brazous' flight, so he would not notice Kaikish unless kaikish changed to Dragon form. Besides, he wanted to do it a way that would be remembered by these Slayers. Running up to the mage, Kaikish grabbed him from behind.

"How dare you!" the mage roared "Release me and I will let you live!" "Nay foul mage," said Kaikish "You have tormented my kin, so I am mearly returning the favor."

Dragging the mage to a cliff, the mage laughed "you're going to hang me?! How very mundane." "No you see you aren't worth my time or trouble for a rope or something else inventive. wait you see the rock?"
"Yes. wh---"
By then Kaikish whiped ot a human knife and, with one long stroke through the mage over the cliff.
"That's your punishment.To die a 'mundane' death."

Changeing back to Dragon, he caught up with Brazous. "Let's head home. I'm hungry." Kaikish stated with a smile "I'm sure that you'll get a hero's welcome Brazous".

Brazous

Brazous looks over at Kaikish in agreement. "Lets get back to the Dragon's Lair and find my father. He will want a report on the progress on the front. As you can see, we have opened a way for the other dragons to press the battle on this front. We have given ourselves a crucial advantage that should allow us to eventually defeat these lesser folks. Follow me."

Brazous wings back towards the Lair. He nods to other dragons as they fly by on the way to the front. When he landed, he asked the closest dragon where his father was. He followed the directions and flew to where his father was talking with Haldram. He patiently waited for Pyrymis to finish before telling him the news. His fathers loud bugle of pleasure made Brazous flush with pride. He took leave of his father and went off in search of some food, the dragons had drove in a small herd of the lesser folks cattle to serve as food for the hungry warriors. Brazous swooped in to avail himself of this oppurtunity.

Kaikish landed. He was sore,but he felt great. As he looked around for Brazous, he saw his friend with an older dragon that could only be Prymis. Kaikish decided to go over and talk with him.
And maybe get approval for an idea he has.

Pyrymis

As Brazous was moving away, Pyrymis saw another dragon coming towards him. He inclined his head respectfully as he said "You must be Kaikish, my son was tell me about the great work the two of you did on the front. On behalf of the dragons, I thank you. Is there something I can help you with? "

Char

IC: A thousand needles, and yet cold hard and solid. A burning sensation. The pain was more then I would ever choose to bear, and yet thats the irony I didn't choose to bear it and soon it would end in death for me. Prehaps I will see this brother of mine I've herd so much, the brave or foolish Zyzzx.

The slayer pulled back his arm the katar in his wrist pointing at me. In one swift blow he'll end my life at least it has the mercy to aim for the heart. I won't suffer long. As doom was rearing it's ugly face I noticed something. I red tip sticking out of the slayers chest. What coul it be. It was an arrow head. Why on earth would there be an arrow there.

The world moved slow as the slayer moved it's fist towards me, but at the last second the fist curved to the side and hit the wall. I looked at my captors face wich was so distaught with pain that I began to wonder what had happened.

I wissing sound came to my ears and I saw a second arrow head poke threw my exictuionor. He fell forward in pain and anguish and time regained it's normal speed. Several more wises came to me and I saw the same girl that had shot me down days ago.

The slayer now laaid beside me dead, four arrows sticking in its back. The girl pointed her bow at me. 'And your the beast that brought this guy here.' "I didn't mean to." 'That dosen't matter.' The arrow came at me but hit beside my head. I felt a cold breeze push threw the canyon. I looked to where she hadd been and she was gone an eagle off in the distance.

"Did she create that wind?" No she ment to kill me that I'm certin of. Then lucky for me that the wind blew it off corse. "The wind, thats right. This forest belongs to an elemetal. I better leave before it gets mad."

Kaikish bowed low "I thank you Pyrymis. But it was your son that did most of the work.He is a great warrior. I was jsut along for the ride. I came to ask you of something. Where did these humans come from? Maybe we should find out. But it's your descion. Oh, now that I am here I would like to ask a question. Where can I get something to eat?

"Oh before I go, I would sugest that if, you deciede to send an expedition, I would reccomend that your son would lead it. If there are Slayers out there, I think you should send your toughest dragons to do such a thing."

Fin landed near the dragon colony "I can not take her there... Even though she and her troops are our alais, they still do not trust her race.. If she is human that is..."

Fin thought of one other place "I hope kyle won't get jealus..." Fin flaped his wings hard, and was about to take off when... "ANFINOS!!!"

"He turned his head and looked to see Leka "WHat Leka? I have an emergency here!"

You idiot! What the hell are you holding?"

"Well..." Fin began sarcasticly, "It seems to be a Human girl."

"Don't give me that bull Fin! I know what it is! But why do you have her?!" Leka gave a shocked yet humorus look "Well it seems that my little brother had grown up! SOOOOoooo! What were you going to do with her?"

It took fin a minute, but as soon as he relized... "LEKALO! Geez grow up!"

Leka's look grown furious and stern again "So what were you going to do then?"

"I'm going to take her to a village so she can get help"

"She's the enemy damnit! her kind is out to kill us!"

"Yet she voulentered to help us!"

Leka was completely confused "You're kidding me, right? Well any way, how can only one human make peace huh?"

Fin sighed "Come with me... wait hold on, take her for a second."

Reluctently, Leka taken Shim so FIn couuld turn into a dragon winged wolf "Ok put her on my back and turn into the same thing... But make sure yours is a different color"

Fin bolted ahead of Leka with Shim on his back "Where the hell is he going?"

IC: I gave one last look at the temple I was next to. I wonder what is in there.... no I'll have to wait. I'm defenitly going to be killed if I go in there with out permision. I suck my talons into the wall and began to climb out. "I'm not to fly in here if I rember corectly. Not that it matters when I'm stuck in a cave."

I reached the top and began my way back to the colony.

Pyrymis

Scratching an eyeridge with a sharpened claw, Pyrymis looks at the young dragon. "Indeed, that is not a bad idea to strike at the Slayers on their own worlds. Maybe the suprise would catch them off guard. It will mean fighting on their terms, but the deaths they cause with their suprise attacks is becoming too high. I will take this matter to the council. As far as food, follow my son to the herd, there is enough meat there to sate any dragons hunger. "

Pyrymis turns to the nearest messenger dragon. "Hear me, young fast one, get this message to Rune and Oldwing. We need to set up the council within the next two hours to set a battle plan to take the attack to the slayers. " With a wave, Pyrymis sent the messenger dragon winging away with the important message stored close to its heart.

As I came close to the end of the elementals forest I decided it was best to change itno something with less concpicous. Well I can't change into a human less I be mistakenly hit by my own kin. But what else can I change into. I have very little pratice at changeing into difrent animlas.

I guess a rabit will do for now. Small enough that I won't be the target of dragons or humans looking for meals. I transform myself and head off towards my home. As soon as I'm out of here I thing I'll try a crow or something that can fly. It's takeing way to long to reach there on foot.

"Thank you Pyrymis for the consideration of my idea." Kaikish said. With a rumble of his stomach, He turns to follow Brazous.

As he neared the herds, kaikish saw Brazous and moved towards him.

"I wonder if your father will take my suggestion seriously. I do think that my plan is important, but I do not know how important they will think it is. Have I told you my idea?"

Brazous looks over at Kaikish. " I am sure my father will give the idea proper thought. He is apt to act rashly when he makes his decision, so we must all be ready to go at a moments notice. After eating, I am going to find the remnants of my squad and get them prepared to go. Make sure you are well fed, I am not sure if we will find anything to eat in the Dimension of the Slayers. I will meet you back here in about three hours, ask around for any volunteers while you are about. "

IC: I flew high in the air. It was a nice change of pace to be a hawk. The hawks body was so much lighter it gave supriseing speed and agility. Don't get me wrong on that either, us dragons are neither slow in the air nor are we siting ducks.

Duck that sounds nice right now. A small animal it dosne't do much for my hunger but still it's a mood sort of mouthyfull. A small little treat.

I looked down below and saw a flock of sheep in the colony, very unusal. I wonder if it's safe to land. There was a slayer about when I had left. No it has to be dead by now. A slayer is formidable and a match for almost any dragon but still there is no force in existence that can beat a group of dragons.... except for a force of slayers.... No still not there terible tails have to just be legend. Especilly this concept of them going from demetion to demention killing off the dragon race each and every time. Thats just not possible.

I landed in the flock and changed back to normal. I'll just eat these worrys away. Then I can go and fight a bunch of elves or something. I'll keep myself to bussy to worry.

Kaikish looked at the nearby dragons with consideration.
'I hope they listin to me' he thought grimly

"All right everyone listin up!" Kaikish shouted "My name is Kaikish and i'm looking for dragons to go with Brazous and myself on a expedition. It will be dangerous and some may not return, but it's something we have to do!"

Although Leka was much better at transforming into things than Fin, Fin had the major speed advantge that made Leka jelouse. "Slow down Anfinos!"

"I told you, I'm in a rush!" Fin jumped over a fallen tree, and began to slow to a stop "Were almost there...."

"Then why did you stop?"

"I feel a dark presence here... like somebody is watching us...."

"You've been sniffing the dragon lillys again huh?"

"I didn't sniff and dragon lillys, so why... SHUT UP!"

Fin quieted down instantly, hearing Skim groan due to his raised voice. Knowing that te village is not far away, Fin walked the rest of the way.

"Kid... I will never understand what you see in lesser beigs."
