Iran has squandered or sold most of their resources under the current regime. Tehran has even run out of water. No one needs their 'cake'.
Their historical fiscal prowess also wasted funding terrorism as war.
The middle east needs stability not terror. Look at the other countries and how they are flourishing.
Iran stabilized, we will see how far gone Yemen is. Pakistan is teetering. Biden left Afghanistan to be plundered by the Chinese who are near to starting war with Afghanistan's neighbors. Afghanistan's gold is not the Chinese or the Taliban's to exploit. Being unable to find information on poppy sales does not mean it is not an export again either.
My problem with this is peace. If the Iranian regime is eliminated will the middle east be able to support a new government without exploiting it? That is how the Dulles brothers/UK led Iran into this mess to start with.

I said they were not as their resources are depleted or worthless. And to recover they need to eliminate the existing regime as it has failed and continues to threaten others and do further damage to their people and countries of the region.

And unlike Venezuela there is not leadership already in place. Pahlavi may unite the people but can he run a country. Can he bring Iran back from ruin? I see support from the countries in the middle east but not who they support. Do they want to prop up Reza? Once established Iran's path back to stability is the sale of oil. Essentially a returning competitor that has been a bad neighbor for quite some time.
Nobody is attacking Iran. Iran is and has been lashing out terror by missile, bombs and guns for years. Completely destabilizing the region. Look what they have done to Gaza, Yemen.
