Just to be clear, we're not talking about the depictions of myths, just the portrayal of the Gods themselves, right? Because there are a lot of weirdo shit with Zeus. He's a bit of a shapeshifting pervert in most stories surrounding him and it's only by the grace of stuff like Disney and Clash of the Titans that have "humanized" him

As long as we are talking about mythic gods, I will share a story that I learned from a Classics professor long ago. I swear this is 100% true.


Thor, the Norse god of thunder, was bored with banging lusty Viking wenches in Valhalla, and decided to go down to Earth to have sex with a human woman for a change. He found a comely wench at a bar, chatted her up, and went back to her place. They fucked all night long, in epic proportions.

In the morning, she told him, "You are the greatest lover I've ever had!"

He said, "Well, I have to tell you the truth: I'm Thor."

She said, "You're Thor? I'm tho thor I can barely pith!!"


Okay, that's a silly joke. But I think it could also be a story idea.

Originally I was thinking people who look like popular figures in Geek/nerd fandoms but I don’t know who would qualify for that anymore (like they would look like David Tennat or Matt Smith).

But I mean, musical theater is always a perfect mix of nerdery and attractiveness.

Not sure how to turn any of that into a story though.
