The Grand Tournament: Please Check OOC Before Joining

"I think I had you more than you know," she said turning around. "Better watch it with that thing." She stuck her cigar in her mouth and winked at him. "See you on the the feild." Slowly and deliberatly she began to walk out of the room. Loveing the feel of all the mens eyes on her as she walked away. She stopped just at the door way and looked back, she took a puff of her cigar, her curvy frame accentuated by the straight post of the door way. "Try not to practice too, Hard; boys." She winked at Yanmoto one last time and stepped out of the room.

As she walked back to her seat next to her sister she shook her head clear of her flirtation. Wow, she thought to herself. He is strong.

Soon after Illyana left, Yanmato stood there, slightly dazed before shaking his head and smiling. "Maybe she did have me more than she thought..."

"Why is that you, the bug boy, get more girls than me?!"

Yanmato shot around to see that Mark snuck into the arena. He smirked as he saw Mark was only joking, but he still left himself open for a reply. "Maybe because I don't go to a carnival, drop my pants in front of the first cute girl I see, and ask, 'you wanna ride a REAL ride baby?!' "

Mark frowned at the comment. "Hey! I was drunk!"

"Yeah, well the girl didn't know that!" Yanmato laughed as Mark fumed. But his fun was quickly interupted when the com came back on. "Attention, fighters Yanmato, and Shun, please enter the arena now."

"Yes!" Yanmato whipsered. He turned to Mark and smirked. "I'll see ya later, gotta shed some blood!"

Yanmato Kazazaki

Yanmato was once again hopping up and down. The arena was already set before he even got there, it was a large feild where the grass was up to his chin, except for the middle, and had a normarl, uncut height. A light breeze blew throught the grass, making it sway back and forth, this was eliment rare to the battles, but it gave Yanmato the advantage.

Theyoung fighter stopped hopping when the door to his far left opened. there stood a boy no older than twelve. He seemed to be in rich boy clothing, definetly not fighting material.

"Is he it?" The small boy seized Yanmato up as if he was nothing. "My grandma can beat him."

"You little Kisama..."

"Attention ladies and gentle man! The match between Yanmato Kazazaki, and Shun Shiromorie is about to begin!" the announcer looked at the judges, who nodded for the match to begin. "And fight!"

Shun quickly lunged at Yanmato, leaping in the air and swining his foot to kick him sqaure in the jaw. Yanmato lifted two fingures, and blocked the kick with ease. Shun sent another kick in mid air, only to be block simularly to the first kick. this pattern continued until Yanmato grabed Shun and hurled him into the large patch of grass, fast and hard. He then shoved his hands in his pockets and basicly sauntered to over there until he hovered over Shun. "Stop playing games brat."

Shun got to his knees and bowed. "I'm sorry! I should have prepaired for this fight more than I did! Please show me some mercy!"

Yanmato growled in fustration, he knew for a fact that the kid was alot stronger, and his little act was just a rouge to get out of the fight. He felt like punching him sqaure in the nose, but insted jammed his hands into his pockets and turned away. "Give up if you want, come and fight me when yo-"

Yanmato was quickly cut short when he fel a stining blown to his head. The force was so great that it sent him flying into a wall. Shun took advantage and jumped at Yanmato again, getting a clean and pwerful jab onto Yanmato's face. He repeated a few times before he went for a mid-air back flip kick, only to miss by a inch. Yanmato quickly took advantage and rolled to his back, and stuck his feet in the air so Shun's stomache could land on them. "Wha..."

Yanmato quickly rolled backwards and slammed Shun into the wal behind him. He didn't hestate to get up and punch the boy in his stomache while he was upside down. The young bug fighter pulled his fist back for the finnal blown, but misssed as Shun flipped himself right side up and landed on Yanmato's shoulders.

Shun jumped off and tornado kicked Yanmato into the air, pulled out a few, extreamly sharp daggers, and hurled them at Yanmato.

"Shit..." Yanmato placed his arms infront of his face, just in case, and let the wind pick up around him until a small tornado surrounded him and sucked the blades into its path, just before being sent back to him.

Shun quickly back flipped out of the way and landed on one foot. Both fighters glared at each other, neither willing to give up.

On the side of the planet where it was midnight, another battle began, with the only exception being that this was a dual high level battle.

Rikou-jou the Fire Elementalist and Loire the Weaponsmaster began their battle in the dead of the night. Loire charged Rikou, pulling several of his daggers from the dimensional containers in his pockets and slashing at Rikou with a fierce intensity. Rikou didn't even bother trying to dodge, but instead allowed himself to be cut, bringing a surprise to the Weaponsmaster.

Spouts of Fire oozed from Rikou's wounds, instead of the customary red blood. Rikou simply grinned and allowed some of his "blood" to drip onto his Katana, then moved his left forefinger and middle finger along the blade, spreading the Fire completely along the blade, turning it into a torch in its own right.

"And now...we shall fight," were the only words said before both warriors charged each other, clashing in a furious frenzy of sound, Fire, and weapons.

Yanmato breathed in sharply, the breathed out calmly. 'This... Isn't... Right,' Yanmato though, 'If it isn't his age, its his skills and knowledge! He can't be just some rich brat! Its impossible!'

Yanmato taken another deep breath, and exhaled before landing in front of the tall grass. "Okay! No more games! Show your real form!"

Shun smiled. "Oh? So you saw me out?" Shun almost laughed. "Heh heh! Thats good, I always did like to see my victem's face when I show my true form, just before they die!"

'Victem? Die?'

Shun took a few steps back into the tall grass. The wind taken a evil aura, and left the arena as quick as it came. When Shun stepped out, he was no longer a child, but a man in his late 30's. "I've been hired to kill a boy that has bug like features, he was born of the devil."

"Greeeat... My parents still 'care'!"

"Care enough for you to DIE!"

Shun ran torwards Yanmato, so fast that Yanmato could barely see him comming. 'He's fast!' He was barely able to block himself as Shun slammed his fist and knee into Yanmato's right shoulder, making him jump up slightly. This gave Shun enogh time to pull out a hiden sword, and stab him in the same exact spot, parilizing Yanmato's shoulder temperarely, if not permanently.

As soon as Yanmato landed on his rear, his slid back, holding his sevearly wounded shoulder. His breathing was harsh, and blood ran down his shoulder, dreanching his jacket. "Did it hurt? Are you going to cry? Beg for mercy? Give up?"

Yanmato sneered, "I never give up..."

"Good! That means I won't look like a coward when I stab you." Shun reached forward, and pulled the blade out of Yanmato, making him yell in pain. "I love the sound of my victems final breaths, there so... Invigorating!" Shun pulled his sword back, and prepaired to kill Yanmato. "Goodbye, say hello to your god for me!" Shun jabed forward, and the bug knight rolled out of the way.

"You'll have to be quicker than that to defeat me!" Shun growled and jumped torwards Yanmato, Yanmato rolled again and stood. up only to meet face to face with Shun before he cut into Yanmato's chest. Yanmato jumped back and ran into the tall leaves, hoping to get some safe covering.

"You think that would save you?! Ha!" Shun pulled his sword back, then swung it into the tall grass. It cut right into it, and Yanmato as well.

"Gah!" Yanmato jumped into the air, trying desperatly to escape the homing sword. But he the wounds slowed him down and the sword stabed him in his side.

"Bulls-eye..."

Yanmato droped from the sky, right into the largest patch of grass. No movement except for the wind effected the grass, and Shun coulden't feel Yanmato's aura. Shun grinned a evil grin, and looked at the judges, the ref did the same thing. But the judges didn't move, the matchg wasn't over. "WHAT!?!"

"Heh heh hahahahahaha..." Laughter echoed the room as the wind pushed the grass around violently. Shun looked around quickly, trying to find Yanmato. But all alone the young bugnoid human was exactly where he landed. He walked out, the sword still stabed in his side.

"B-but how!?!"

"One of my other skills... Exoskeleton Armor." Yanmato pulled the sword out, only a small amount of blood poured out. His jacket was completely shredded and gone, but now a set of armor surounde his upper bodie. half of it looked like green and black BMX padding, and normale black demon armor. All that wasn't covered by that part a metalic silver shirt covered it. The hole where the sword pirced re-sealed itself.

"Th-this isn't possible!"

"It is... You lost... You can't kill the dead." Yanmato steped forward bofre disapering into some kind of mist. "But..." Shun shifted his eyes to his left to see Yanmato right there beside him, staring blankly into nothingness. He was still heavily wounded, still breathing hard, but definetly wasn't loosing. His body and clothing was soak in blood, his eyes no longer showing any hint of kindness, only the eye of a dragonfly hunting a prey he couldn't see, but sure as hell knew where it was.

"Why...?"

"Why haven't i showed my true potential? Well for one thing, I still haven't, I don't know my limit, I can't relise it if I keep fighting worthless fools. You somewhat tapped it into it... But I'm glad you didn't enrage me anymore than you did... But, that leads me to my second answere... I was trying not to kill you..."

Shun slowly taken steps away from Yanmato. He was across the arena when the already violent wind picked up visiously around Yanmato only. "N-no..."

"You... You have killed many just for the thrill, how many inocents died in you savage hands?! How many died just for spite, vengence, and corporate takeover?! How many have YOU killed for FUN!?!" The concentraited wind became 4 dozen set of single arches, moving rapidly torwards the now blocking Shun. The wind cut his clothing, and hair, but not him. As soon as they stoped, Shun looked up but saw nothing. He felt then felt knuckles press against his back.

"You... You lost... This match, and your life." Shun suddenly felt something go through his lower back, and his kidney. He looked down and saw one of Yanmato's bade ptruding out of him.

"You got ten seconds to live... Tell me who you really are."

"I am Shu-"

"You're real name."

"I- it Piere Foul."

"And the real Shun?"

"My pocket."

Yanmato jammed his hand into Piere's pocket then pulled it out. ''Say hello to your god for me." Yanmato's blade pulled out, the glove cleaning it of blood as it pulled back. Piere dropped to his knees, then on his stomache. He was dying.

Yanmato stood over Piere, his once again showing that inocent kindness. "Let your soul, and all of the poor souls lost by your hands finally rest in peace." Piere closed his eyes, for the last time, and the judges signaled that the match was over.

"And the winner is Yanmato Kazazaki!" The crowd roared indelight, once again Yanmato came out victorious, this time he was on the brink of destruction, not physically, but mentally. He rose his arm in victory, and left for the hall way.

***

"I thought you didn't belive in that stuff?"

Yanmato stoped in front of Mark, who was smoking a cigeret. "What?"

"You prayed for his soul, I thought you hated that."

"Thought so too... Hell, I still think I do."

"Then... Why?"

"Noooo, clue." Yanmato held out his fist and opened it, revealing a small piece of paper. "Here, take this, and find the real Shun."

"Yeah, sure bud... But hey, if he wasn't the real... How come the judges..."

"Didn't disqaulify him?"

"I hate when you do that... But, yeah, why?"

"because they knew, he signed up as an mimic, I guess."

"Heh... Sometimes, Yanma..."

Yanmato sighed and began to walk again. "Hey Yanma! While I'm out, ya want me to get you new gear? Same type?"

"Yeah, and get me one in red too, same design!" Yanmato waved his hand, disapering into the darkness.

"You're gonna get yourself killed Bra... (no I didn't spell that wrong.) Don't you think you suffered enough in your life?"

***

Yanmato slowly entered his locker room, which was near the entrance of the hallway. He pushed the door to close it, but didn't bother to listen if it did or didn't. He walked over to the closes wall and slid down, groaning in pain. his exoskelaton armor long gone. He breathed in and out, trying to subside the pain.

"Sir, she's at it again."

A tall man stood at the back of a high chair, the many screens in front of the chair glowing brightly.

"Even after Manipulator gave her the warning?"

"Yes sir. After her wounds had been bound, she left, and our agents lost track of her again."

"It would seem that we may need to warn her for the second time."

"Warnings don't seem to be effective sir. Why don't you just use your powers and completely put an end to her?"

Before the assistant could blink, the tall man was glowering over him, his light red eyes glowing slightly as he looked down at the man and growled slightly.

"My authority is not something to be abused Journeyman. You are far too young and inexperienced to even hope of ruling this Tournament! The Elementals and the Lord Aztur entrusted this responsibility to me, and would not even think of agreeing to my reign had it not been for a scrict code of agreements."

The man looked down, ashamed of the piercing gaze of the man that towered over him.

"Forgive me sir. I did not know my place."

"Now...this girl. She continues to be a problem despite our efforts to discourage her. VERY few continue their protagonism after they encounter Manipulator, but she must not fear him. I was also mildly surprised that Manipulator did not retain a piece of her soul. He said something about there being only fragments and nothing worth taking. It seems that for once we may need to result to outside help in discouraging her. What's our status with the Union of Vanilla and Azure Skies?"

"Well sir...they just lost one of their men in the recent battle, but he was only a Third Class Assassin."

"They needed a Third Class Assassin? What level was the match?"

"It was low 100's sir."

"Hmm...rather rare for them to have someone that low that needs to be killed. Contact the leader of the Union, and alert them that we may need one of their First Class Propagators, around level 170. Tell them that the normal arrangements will be made, and a match shall be organized for the Propagator and the girl."

"Yes sir, it shall be done," said the assistant as he walked back through the door and left the much larger man standing next to the chair, watching the multitude of screens.

"So, what happened?" Illyana asked her sister as she sat down in her seat next to her.

"Well that odd bug like fellow just totally killed his opponent," Rebecca said snacking on some popcorn. "You know I am only watching this because of you sis. Why are you doing this anyway?"

Illyana sighed and looked at her the lady she had come to call sister. She knew they were not truly related in anyway. "I am here for the wish," she said hoping that would be the end of it. She took another puff on her cigar and leaned back in the chair.

Rebecca sat frustrated, her sister could be killed at anytime in the arena all for this wish what did she want? It was certainly more than some pretty stone. She heared Illyana's phone ring which she picked up.

"Illyana Ellore, please report to the arena," she hung up her phone and looked at her sister again.
"I have to go again, I promise I will tell you why I am here." Illyana stood up and turned to the aisle. "Oh, right." she pulled out the cigar between her breasts. "The sweet kind right," she said tossing it to her. "Smoke it for me, it will give me luck." She smiled at her sister one last time and walked up the stairs putting her expressionless face back on. She tossed her nearly finished cigar in the ashtray at the entrance to the halls, her last fight was a travesty and did not get her any closer to her wish. This fight would be different she vowed.

Mark sighed as he stoped the car, and put it in park. "This should be the place..." Mark opened the car and stepped out, stretching as he did so. "This is pretty far from the city, that assasin really knew what he was doing." Mark stood there for a second. "What if they're more. And if so, what if that guy was a low level?"

Mark shook his head. "Gota stop thinking like that." Mark walked around for a few minutes, at the moment he was standing by a large mass of water, and a light house flash its light nearby. "If the light-house is there... then that means the shack is..." Mark turned his head, and found a small, ran down shack. "Bingo."

She donned her armor and placed her swords in their sheaths. She put out her cigar as she starred in the mirror, her expression changed, she now had no feeling, no emotion only the inexplicable desire to win. She would have her wish and she was going to prove it.

((Let me figure out just how I want this fight to go, I shall post it tommorow.))

Mark rammed his shoulder into the door, but had no luck in opening it. The assassin most likely have borded the door from the inside. Mark groaned and rubbed his shoulder. "This guy obviously knew what he was doing." He taken a few steps back and came up with an idea. "Maybe... Maybe I can use one of Yanmato's moves..."

Mark shifted to his side and side stepped forward bringing his foot up, breaking the door in half. "Well... That was... interesting."

Priest's Circle

"My brethren, I have come here today to alert you that a Gravitist has died. I watched as his Archaic left him, and went to another. I am now before you to ask that you begin searching for the successor."

"Heziah, you know that we have matters that are far more pressing than this," said a figure sitting to the right of the head of the table, "As you know, the High Priest Savas has been missing for quite some time, and the Dark Lord's troops are becoming increasingly active."

"Yes brother, but this matter is quite pressing as well. To leave a child by themself with the power of Dimentia is folly. We have been instructed by the Elementals themselves to keep track of the Dark Children, for the consequences are quite severe if we do not."

The figure being addressed sighed and sat back in his chair, combing his fingers through his long hair. "Heziah, the last we searched for a Child of Gravity, it took several years, and cost a pretty penny. Unless you have a new method for searching, we cannot support two searches at the same time."

"Yes, I have a new method, and only I am required to search," said Heziah with a slight smile.

The figure sat forward and interlaced his fingers in front of his mouth as he asked, "And what method is this that you propose?"

Heziah simply smiled and stood.

"The Lady's power is with me, and I will be able to feel the child. Nine of the Gravitists are catalouged. I simply need ignore their presences and follow the new aura, which is far stronger than a disciplined Gravitist."

"Very well Heziah. You have this Council's support. Do nothing rash, and do not waste. Find the newborn, and take careful note of everything involving his circumstances."

Heziah bowed and faded into the darkness, going back through the portal by which he had entered the Council.

Yanmato taken a deep breath and stood up from the ground. 'Gotta, keep, awake...' The bug like fighter stumbled around the room, headed for the door, the fight he had with the gravitational master was nothing like the fight with the assassin, compared to Rauol, the gravity master's wound was nothing but a scratch here and there.

Yanmato suddenly lost his balance and fell back to the ground face first. He slammed his fist into the dirt and lifted himself back up to his knees. 'Baka! That guy did alot more damage than I thought. I was so reckless! I could have beaten him in one shot! But I had to be so fucking noble!' Yanmato slammed his fist into the ground a few more times before standing up again. "Gotta... Keep moving. Can't fall asleep..."

Yanmato shook off the pain, making it nothing but a neusense, another skill Yanmato's, small mastery of mind over matter. Yet He knew it wasn't going to last long, he could only stay focused on it for a few short hours.

The young fighter opened the door and walked out. Almost running into a woman in her late 20's. "Oh, er... Excuse me miss."

"Oh, forget it!" Yanmato gave a week smile of relife. "I'll return the favor to you when I kill you."

Yanmato's eyes sharpened. "What?"

"Oh? You can't tell?" The woman flung back her dark hair and smiled. "I'm an assassin! An higher class than Rauol! I swere, I don't even know why they hired that fool!"

"Another? How many are there after me?"

"Mmmmm... Not sure!"

Yanmato just glared. 'She's so cheerful! Its like its nothing more than a meer game!'

"You seemed agrivated. Why?"

"Why won't you people leave me alone," He asked agressively.

"You asking such a silly question! You know why! We were paid biiiiiiig bucks to kill the bug-like demon!"

"I'm no demon, I assure you. If I was, I would have killed you right here, right now."

The woman smiled and walked right up to Yanmato's side. She leaned over to his ears so she could whisper "You killed my dear allie without any remourse..."

"Odd... I could have thought you said he was nothing but a fool..."

For a few seconds, the assassin remained silent. "Brilant deduction, too bad you won't last long, I'm beggining to like you kid."

"Well stop, because I don't like you."

"Oh well, its a shame though..." The woman leaned closer. "I have a match with some wretch, so I have to leave this combersation, but rest assure," The assassin muttered, as she trailed her index fingure up from Yanmato's throat, to his lips, "you will die by my hands..." The assassin pulled her hand back, and kissed him on the cheek. "My signature... The last kiss before you die..."

The woman smiled and left to the arena, leaving Yanmato there. He just stood there, his left hand was clenched so tightly, that it was beggining to bleed. As soon as he snapped back into reality, he pulled his left hand up and wipe the lipstick off with the back of his hand.

"Meaningless..."

"Yes, Manipulator...what is it?" asked the tall shadow as he turned from his monitors.

"I'm requesting some time off," said Manipulator as he quietly closed the door.

"I assume you've been challenged to a match?"

"Yes sir, some fool of a woman..."

"Really? That's interesting. What is she?"

"She's human...also seems she's an assassin. I was lookin at her profile and she's quite skilled. I'll be quite entertained and will finally be able to have a decent meal after that little girl."

The shadow smiled slightly, lacing his fingers in front of his mouth as he said, "Well, sounds like you will. I haven't received any requests for you recently, so I'll let you have the week off. Don't get into trouble, it's rather annoying to have to mediate between people."

"Yes sir," said Manipulator as he tipped his hat and opened the door again, stepping out and closing it behind him.

"Yes, yes, quite skilled indeed," muttered the shadow as he turned around once more.

Yanmato returned to his room and sat down. Sleep quickly over took the bug fighter, and his memorys acted as his constant nightmares.

******

"Mommy? Whats this?"

"They're peas."

The young Yanmato looked up at his smiling mother. "But peas are green, not pale white..."

"Well, there sn-snow peas. Yes, snow peas. Now eat up, you wanna be big and strong, right?"

Yanmato continued to look at the peas, then he shifted his eyes to the spoon. 'Its wet with something weird... And it smells funny... Besides... Why give me a spoon, why not a fork?' The small bug-like human pushed out his hand, and let the small flat blade stab into them. He lifted them and watched the odd color drip out. 'Peas don't drip out black stuff... Its poisoness...'

OOC: Hey, anybodie out there? Is there anybodie still willing to do this like I am? Schaed? Rone?

Hey, I would like to start this back up again but I think Shcae is gone gone. Perhaps the two of us can start a new thread with the same idea? Let me know k

Well there are two ways we can do this. The first way is like you said. But that'll take a while to set up plus we gotta give it a new name, and possibly an entirely different plot.

The other way is we can just continue with this thread, and hope Schae. Usualy that is the best way to go, it has worked on alot of occasions.

Besides, I'm having too much fun making my character suffer with woman troubles and homicidal assasins.

While it would be good to continue this thread on it would just be the two of us posting, seeing as how I belive the others have all left it for dead. And no matter how you look at it with just two people posting in an action based fighting Rp like this it would just turn into a form of strange masturbation.j/k

Ooc: Well, this won't be the first time I've been in a situation like this. One of the mottos on Lit's ORPs is:

As long there is more than one person willing to go, its still alive.

Do you want me to make a post to give this thread a jolt?
