The impending death of Christianity in America

If you can't tell the difference between Kirk and ISIS, you're the retard.
I can tell the difference all right. One called himself a Christian, the other calls themselves Islamic.

That is really the only difference. If you really get behind their vision for their respective societies, strip away the name of the religion from them and look at how they intend society and government to work, they are far more alike than you probably care to admit. Yes, Chad, they are very much alike.

You have a problem where you seem to think that standing up for the rights of minorities is equal to hating on white people. This is ridiculous. You really do need to get over that. I don't know where this comes from, but it is completely illogical.

Again, social conservatives aren't the ones aborting all their babies.

My wife and I not only replaced ourselves but we made 4 more Catholic MAGA's.

How many open borders communist (D)umb fucks have you produced?

The religious ( and thus social conservatives) are winning, because we reproduce....and your side does not. You're in a death cult that intentionally kills off it's future....then jerks itself off over how wonderful that makes it.
I hope you don't suck on the socialist tit of public schools paid for by people who don't even have children.

None of this is going to bring people back to the churches. It's a generational decline. In 20 years America will be as post-Christian as Europe is now.

Now THIS is interesting! ADVENTISTS on the rise! Most Christians the world over consider them as heretical as Mormons!

Now, THIS is interesting! According to Professor Archive, the old Bible Belt -- the Southeastern U.S. -- is BIFURCATING. As lukewarm Christians leave the evangelical churches, the zealots remain -- the surviving churches become bubbles of hyper-religiosity in a sea of indifference.

Soon to be Sharia everywhere and Jizya or death for all infidels.

Yeah, I know, I know. This is America, the only country in the world where a significant number of people expect to be Raptured. It's in our national DNA.

"The Americans combine the notions of Christianity and of liberty so intimately in their minds, that it is impossible to make them conceive the one without the other; and with them this conviction does not spring from that barren traditionary faith which seems to vegetate in the soul rather than to live."

-- Alexis de Tocqueville

Nevertheless: Both belief and church attendance are steadily AND IRREVERSIBLY declining.
Strength to Love is an anthology of sermons Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave at his church at the Evenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

In Dr. King's sermon "A Knock at Midnight," he said:

"In this country the roll of church members is longer than ever before. More than one hundred and fifteen million people are at least paper members of some church of synagogue. This represents an increase of 100 percent since 1929, although the population has increased y only 31 percent."

This sermon was given in 1963. The fortunes of Christianity have waxed and waned Wilson 23, but it would be premature for someone to agree with what you hope is true.

The trend is definitely downward. The percentage of "nones" in the population grows every year. This is IRREVERSIBLE.

If God exists He existed before the beginning of Christianity. He will exist if Christianity comes to an end.

The big bang theory of the universe is the scholarly consensus. According to the big bang theory about fourteen and a half billion years ago the universe consisted of a point of infinite density.

If I remember my junior high school mathematics - and thank you, Mr. Griffith, I tried to remember - a point has no dimensions. If the entire universe can fit inside one of those it is more of a miracle than the virgin birth of Jesus, his miraculous cures, and the Resurrection.

One tenet of the big bang theory is that if gravity was somewhat less powerful there would not be enough force to keep stars together. If gravity was somewhat more powerful the stars would burn out in about ten thousand years.

Atheists cannot explain why the universe exists instead of nothing. The complexity of the universe suggests to me a Divine Intelligence that created it in order to make life possible.

From 66 to 73 AD the Jewish uprising happened. It resulted in the deaths of as many as one million people on both sides. The absence of any mention of an event of this magnitude in the New Testament indicates that everything in the New Testament was written before 66 AD. Eye witnesses to the ministry of Jesus still lived. Written record to that ministry still existed.

The Gospel According to St. John includes claims by the disciple St. John that he wrote it. It mentions buildings as still existing that we know from other sources were destroyed in the Jewish uprising.

I lived in the USA for eight years and my observation is that Christianities of all varieties had only one primary purpose - to justify rampant materialism.

It is not merely foolish but wicked to believe without proof.
You have a personal reason. What is it? My Christian faith causes me to contribute money to charities that help the poor. It causes me to be generous to beggars. It has never caused me to harm anyone.

Nevertheless: Both belief and church attendance are steadily AND IRREVERSIBLY declining. Nobody can stop it, least of all God, because it is a matter of demographic change, not ethnic or racial, but generational -- the Millennials are at least 25% atheist or agnostic, the Zoomers the same only more so. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strauss–Howe_generational_theory

Professor Archive has a whole series of videos on this process: https://www.youtube.com/@ProfessorArchive

In a couple of decades, the U.S. will be as post-Christian as Europe is now.
