What the fuck, exactly, is wrong with people today? Am I just cranky? Or what? Because EVERYONE is annoying me today.

I really liked mine with sweet potato mash. You have to have just the right veggie combo underneath tho.

I think we must be talking about different cottage pies. In England a cottage pie is minced beef and onions in a little brown gravy, topped with light and fluffy mashed potatoes.

If you think about the origination of the cottage pie, it's probably only proper that there's a BUNCH of variations. mebbe including sweet potatoes!!

Is anybody else finding it takes REALLY long to load Lit pages today? *grumbles*

Yes. I already started to wonder if it's my computer or network that's lagging, but as it's only Lit that's really slow, I suppose not.

And my blurt: I hate ice hockey. It's taking all my patience not to snap at him when he wants to watch ice hockey. I. Hate. Ice. Hockey.
Oh, and it's not just that he wants to watch ice hockey, but that he wants to watch a lot of it. A lot. Every day.

Well yeah except that the first time I saw a sweet potato on this side of the Atlantic was in the 1990s ;)

yup, only mine also has peas, carrots, corn and red pepper.

Though admitedly I usually use chicken or turkey when using sweet potatoes.

Really? You don't have them much over there? >.> That sucks. Sweet potatoes are amazing. They're like sweet...well potatoes, with all the starchy goodness, and TONS more nutrients. It's like god said "Dear Potato people. I'm sorry I created such a delicious tuber with a disproportionate calorie to nutrient ratio. Here is the SWEET POTATO"

And God saw the sweet potato. and it was good.
