Large font moment. Still, a very reasonable font.

Normally I roll my eyes and enjoy a moment of smug superiority when I witness others using font of that size, so I consider anything above 12 point a fall from grace on my part. I blame the heat, lack of sleep and the Romanian rugby team for my lack of judgment.

Maybe you need a "Critter" day. :D

Trust me, nothing would make be feel better right now than bludgeoning an unicorn to death. Oh yes, those pathetic whinnies and bleats of terror, that's what I need to...

Oh, perhaps that's not the kind of critter day you were referring to?

Never mind.

I heard something about Romanians. What'd I do? What'd I not do?

Molly you are lucky!

Here's what I got for Mother's Day...a little buddy to keep me feeling fresh.

Woomba - "It cleans my business. My lady business."

All "eating the cat" references have now been suspended.

Let it out, K. Let your inner unicorn whapper fly freeeeeeeeeee!

I wish I could type this in Critter, dammit.

Actually, I want a Constitutional amendment requiring Critter be used for foreign film subtitles. Even if the movie is boring – "X" IS A FRIGGIN' FROG!!!! :)

Nice restraint, DGE.

I want, I want, I want!
I need, I need, I need!

I am really not liking this sprianed back thing. Sleeping more than 8 hours is such a time waster. I have things I'd like to do!

I watched The Last King of Scotland last night on DVD. never seen it before. And once again I find myself wondering if Forest Whitaker is the most charismatic, convincing actor I know. I also find myself wanting to watch Ghost Dog again, which I haven't seen since it was on general release.

But mostly I'm trying to forget that Terry Waite, who lived in Uganda in the early 70s and knew Idi Amin, has said that The Last King of Scotland captures the regime, and Amin himself, very accurately.

mhm

If you truly believe life sucks and then you die, then wouldnt hell for you be to be reincarnated?

Ha. =) Thumbs up!

Sometimes I tend to forget I am lactose intolerant. O junk food, thou art tasteful!!
(i think i worded it right lol)

Um, ouch!
Sounds like you have some powerful, sleep inducing drugs.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I'm just a light weight when it comes to drugs. I'm told I'm very coherent on them though.

I think the doc is going to take me off work. The restrictions she put me on just aren't possible to follow in my line of work. That should help things move along. Also going to start physical theropy.

I'm bored. Bored. B-o-r-e-d.

I need to get a job. This housewife-y thing doesn't really suit me all that well. Not enough challenge or something. Maybe I should start timing my dishwasher unloading?

I've found that, in the end, I'm always strong enough for the fight no mater what doubts may grab at my trouser leg... It's just that sometimes the fight I think I'm fighting isn't deserving of the effort. Especially when I'm fighting the inevitable.

*shrugs*
You're a strong woman, Lizzie. And I've no doubt that you'll always be as strong as you need to be. Even if you don't realize it or feel it till after.
:rose:

:rose:

You're a peach, chy. :)

I know I'm pretty strong. I know I can survive most of anything, even if I might not be the same after, and it'll take me time to get to that point.

What I'm not strong enough to do is give up.

What I'm not strong enough to do is give up.

I know that feeling all too well. Giving up is difficult. That and asking for help is what are my biggest problems at the moment, so I end up tilting way too many windmills on my own.

I'm sure you'll figure out what to do and how to do it. :rose:

I was just blaming myself really, for things... that are because of me, but are not my *fault* and thinking about throwing in the towel.

Not gonna happen though. I'm not gonna be able to make that choice.

Yes. You most defintely are :rose:

If its worth fighting for, dont just fight....go win it chick. You can do it.

Yeah, I think I can. :D

Today I threw away a large trash can
in another large trash can.
And I thought,
"What if they think I'm just double-canning?"

Reminds me of a time when I wanted to throw away a busted plastic garbage can. Since it had some refuse in it, the waste hauler guys just emptied it and tossed its battered and broken hulk back onto my lawn. It took a second attempt - with an attached sign - before they actually took it away.

I like the idea of labelling garbage. THIS is crap. On the other hand, THIS is something that belongs in my yard. Like my car.

Hey!!! It's National Bear Awareness Week!!!!!!!!!! Be Aware of Bears!!!!!! More unnecessary exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!

Stop Stephen Colbert's War on Bears

I am watching Stephen. And chortling. No bear warnings yet, but there has been severe mockery of Mike Huckabee, who, if we could wrestle him to the grass, could be dressed as a bear against his will, fairly easily and convincingly.

On one hand, I hate yard work because it gives me callouses. Nice soft girly girls DO NOT HAVE CALLOUSES.

On the other hand, it burns calories.

Seven bags full of leaves, spiders, acorns and sticks in various states of decay later, and my front yard looks decent.
