Well, let's see... if skin is too sensitive to use solvents, I guess we'll have to use a knife and kind of peel the pine sap/tar off. *Gets out whetstone, begins sharpening kris.*

Has anyone else noticed that the threads tend to come in swings and roundabouts? (And possibly suspension as well.)

There are times when there's no real discussion going on, and we are all just being "light and fluffy" with each other (yes, that's where the cat got to!) And then there are times when we stretch each other's preconceptions, make each other think hard and struggle to put across what we really think or feel.

I sometimes think we can't be mind expanding ALL of the time. We need the light and fluffy periods too. But damn, it's fun (and scary) when the mind expanding does happen.

You're absolutely right, FU -- I was thinking much the same today as I flickered through the threads passing out candy. Spending all our time expanding our minds might be a little bit much... and I think the light and fluffy periods help us to get to those other periods, because it allows us to have *fun* together without having to think - just being. They might even be helping us to know one another a little better, trust one another a little more, become a little bit better friends here.
