I lived in Germany all my life. I haven't experienced war or anything like it either ;) Except for my granny's good-night-stories of being bombed and chased by fight airplanes (word?) and not having food and such.
I'd like to go to Israel, too, some time, but I will wait until the chance of NOT dying is a bit higher

haha the chance of dying is what makes the trip! My friend wants us to go somewhere together in december for some reason, I'm going to try to sell her on Israel. She really wants to go to Germany and Holland though, so we may be in your neck of the woods for a bit haha

Not lots of dying going on around here. There are some neat places though, romantic castles and medieval cities and such. And some nice partying possibilities. December is not the best month to travel, though, except if you like the Christmas markets.

Yeah, but we have to go during her break from university, so it's december or never haha. That's why I think Israel would be good, it would probably be a lot warmer there than in Germany and such

Very true about the warmth.
Good luck convincing her! ;)

Just great! My guests didn't arrive! I had to stay the whole day either at home or at church so they would be able to find me and get in. And now noone is here... *grumble* Never will I clean again to make my home nicer for someone else. Or stay at home waiting.
And I was so hoping to have two nice Italian girls (the parish is over-loaded with Italians) staying here, so I could revive my Italian and stuff...

I've come to the conclusion that nothing ever good comes from doubt. Bad doubt. Doubt, go stand in the corner.

The only thing worse than singing backup on a pop punk cd in grade 9, is finding and listening to the cd 4 years later *shudder*

I dunno... for someone else, having to listen to it with you might be worse. :p

I think I'm the only person on lit that posts in this thread anymore. Anyways. "Lifestyle doms" in Saskatchewan are jokes. Although temper tantrums are pretty rocking

They still haven't gotten rid of the dancing banana. Death to the dancing banana! :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana:

Lesson learned tonight.

Law school buddies are for studying, not partying

You know better than to mix business and pleasure, stick to the script Marquis.

Law students are a boring bunch... Get to know medicine students for partying, you wouldn't want to spend more time with the law ones than you need to anyway. Trust me on this one!

Eat the cherries, give the others to the young 'uns or K.

I do, but that means I only get three starburst! It's the same with skittles. I only want the RED ones!

I need to add a safety warning: If you go out (anywhere) with medicine students, you should be able to stand a whole lot in way of REALLY gross topics. Last time I had to hold my ears closed and sing to myself while walking home with them, though I was a tiny bit too late, so now I have to go through some very hard work not thinking about what I heard.
The even bigger warning: dinner with said people
