No thanks to your utter lack of photo-editing skill!
lol, the best thing I've ever made was this dual-wallpaper designed for my two monitors. I design programs, not pictures.

i can't decide if i'm an okay driver and the rest of the city sucks, or if i'm the one screwing things up.

OMG I survived! I'm alive! I finally have power after this fucking hurricane! OMG whew. I missed you all. But, you probably are scratching your collective heads going, who the hell is this chick. Anyway for all of us in Florida, hope you're all safe and okay!

*hugs* Welcome back. And I believe that everyone else is ok. I could be wrong.

Has anyone seen Marquis lately? (As in after the hurricane.)

No, I'm kinda worried. I know that malcah just got her electricity back on. She says that some of the houses around their got destroyed. And if I remember right, Marquis is in the same general area as Malcah. :(

Last thing he wrote that I saw was before. He said the general power was down, but his apartment complex (or what you call them) had it's own generator so he could still run his PC. Or at least that's what I understood.
I'm kinda worried, too.

Whataride

What an excellent idea for a repeated beating of a submissive: 7400 feet at speeds up to 74 mph during the course of a 4 minute ride.

Still not as fast as a freshly minted five year old downs a bag of cotton candy, but i'm thinking lazy today.

Marquis is doing quite well. I don't really like to post much but since you guys are worrying about him I just wanted to let you know that he's fine.

He doesn't have internet access at home at the moment but I'm sure he will be posting soon because the internet is up and running at school.

Aww, well .. far be it from me to tell anyone else what they should or should not do ..... but .. i've some reason to believe:

A. You would have plenty of value to contribute around here.
B. Many would enjoy it if you did post a bit more often.

That's good to know. Thanks for posting and filling us in ... :)

For the record .. because i just realized this could have been taken another way: This post was not an attempt at getting im_a_voyeur to post more. Just my thoughts here, and sometimes i think think think ..and don't bother giving voice to the thoughts. This was *almost* one of those times. ;)

Some things just do not seem to make a whole lot of sense to me ....

<spill thoughts>i have always found it odd that many submissives who decide to seek the guidance and advice of a mentor would choose a Dominant person to fill the role.

Maybe it is simple because when all of this stuff was very new to me during a time when i had no experience with BDSM and/or being in a D/s relationship, the questions that plagued my mind and soul were mostly directed to the many changing feelings which affected me during those early stages of serving.

i can't relate to the idea that a dominant individual can explain, advice and guide a submissive person regarding the many feelings and emotions which we as submissives posess.

Kind of like when i have to choose a gynocologist, i always choose a female over a male. It would seem to me that the female would be able to relate and have a greater understanding of the issues involved due to having the same 'hardware'.
This is not to say that a male could not be 'book educated' on the subject, yet, for me, first hand experiences have always held more weight in my book.

i never sought the guidance of a mentor. i'm guessing one could be useful in teaching the ins and outs of BDSM protocols, terms and stuff like that ... setting up good profiles, ... screening potential PYLs, accompanying them to muinches (maybe, i don't know).
While i'd agree that a dominant person is capable of advising a submissive as to proper behavior and demeaner, and teaching them many things ... i can't say that i feel the same in regard to their capability of guiding them through emotions which will affect the submissive. i think another submissive with higher levels of experience would be far more suited to the role of mentor.

Along with this way of thinking, i'd have to ask .... Would a Dom seek a sub as their mentor?? One of those things that makes me go "Hmmm  ".
</spill thoughts>

Now, now, Sinn, you musn't upset yourself like this . . . your delicate health you know. Remember what happened last time? We wouldn't want to have to call the little men in white jackets again, would we?

Now be a good girl, and sit down and drink your tea. *pats head* Good girl!

It's ok.

It was a nasty lil' password stealing/keylogger trojan. It was ALL over the registry, most of which i cleaned out by hand as fast as my lil' fingers could type cuz the bloody thing kept causing my PC to crash hard everytime i tried to block it.

So, i did the only logical thing ... deleted ALL messenger programs & all email programs plus contact lists etc ect. And found a lesser known but efficiant antiviral program to run a check afterwards (cuz the trojan was screwing with the one i had ... prevented me from detecting/cleaning it at first. i'm clean again. ;)

No tea needed, i DO feel better now .... (i sent them a Yahoo IM thanking them for their lame yet unsuccessful attempt, that it was so entertaining that i didn't even delete them from my buddy list .... heh .. & invited them to try again. wahahahaaaaa )but tym, graceanne. :) It's always the thought that counts. :rose:

Hey guys, thanks for thinking of me. I am happy to report I am alive and well other than no internet at home and a rather crushing spell of the blues. Like all things, this too shall pass, but I may be scarce for a while.

Genuine affection to all who genuinely deserves it.

I will not be post 302 on a ridiculously stupid thread. But I do have this to say:

It's great seeing your posts, Cheyenne. I always enjoy your wit. ;@
