Total blurtage here:

NEWWWWW CARRRRR!

*snoopy dance*

Okay, it's not really new. It's my mom's 2000 Mazda Protege which has 13k miles on it - she never drove it anywhere! She sold it to me for $7000 (which between you and me is a bit high, $6000 would be more realistic, but it's my mom so I'll give it to her) and this replaces my 1998 Saturn (which I, ahem, wrecked). I really miss my little Saturn, she was good to me for a lot of years, but I am trying to look at the bright side and getting ready to make my NEWWW CARRRRR really my own. :)

Congratulations! Despite the price, ultimately sounds like a decent deal. :D :D :D :D :D

Yeah, my mom's a little delusional that the car is "fresh off the lot" perfect, but she's my mom...whatcha gonna do?

Remind her who will be picking out her nursing home.

While searching for a Hello Kitty MP3 player case for my daughter, I found seat covers, for bucket seats, in a Hello Kitty theme. It reminded me of this thread.

Congrats on the new car! I know how important to have transportation. I feel trapped without it! How will you make it your own?

Just back from a trip

If it weren't for winter, Minneapolis would be a great place to live.

It doesn't snow that much in Minneapolis. It's the rural areas where you've gotta watch out. I can remember times of houses being totally buried outside of town. That was a particularly bad winter abuout 7 or 8 years ago.

Who has clocks?

LOL!

My computer changed on it's own.

I have a clock which I changed last night but somehow I turned on the damn alarm and it woke me up this morning. *grr*

I keep a file on my computer about how to change the time on my watch. I can never find the lil instructions that come with the things.

The vcr's should change on their own.

All the other read outs, that my husband hasn't already changed I'll get to.

We have four actual clocks here. One for each person to be alarmed awake should they need it.

I like it best when I don't need it! Most of the time I wake up before my alarm and turn that sucker off.

The birds now make alarm noises outside. Bastards!
