So yeah...When you show up at a place...The manager isn't there... Is scheduled to BE there... No one knows where they are...

And they show up 50 minutes late without telling anyone...

My guess is, that's probably NOT a good place to work for...

Today, my little brother kept saying 'gesundheit, gesundheit!' to me as I was doing some last minute packing for my trip and I didn't understand because I wasn't sneezing. I asked him what he was going on about and he said 'that's bye in Spanish, right?'

LOL We had this little old Mexican lady ask us for a ride home once. (It'd just started raining.) All the way there the kids were asking "Mama, how do you say bye in Spanish?" The funniest was when my niece said "E says that 'gay' means what in Spanish!"

Nevermind...I am just bummed. I have to put it behind me, I have to forget it. Just forget it.

Roommate: Seriously- you'll feel better.
Me: It's been so long I've forgotten how. What if I'm not any good at all the things I used to be really freaking good at?
Roommate: It's like riding a bike; you don't forget just because it's been years.
Me: Bullshit.
Roommate: When was the last time you rode a bike?
Me: Ummmm... about 5 years ago.
Roommate: And the last time before that?
Me: About fourteen or fifteen years old, which would have put 15 years between the two thingies.
Roommate: See? It's just like that. You didn't lose your balance and fall over the last time you got on a bike, even though you'd not been on one for 15 years did you? Totally same thing.
Me: Actually, I fell over. You're right- totally same thing... I don't think this pep talk is working the way it's supposed to.

I fucking hate doing a death watch. What hurts is it is my spouse's father. What makes it worse is I am a nurse and I am able to differentiate between what constitutes "comfort measures" and "extending life". Withholding one's arthritis meds does not constitute extending life - what it does mean is cruel and unusual punishment and basically snowing a person with pain meds and depressing their respiratory system because of said pain meds. Right now I want to bitch slap pretty much everyone in the medical system of Florida.

I hate explaining why you can't afford to come right out now (even though you were just out) and sit around for 1 day to a month or longer.

Can I say fuck fuck fuck I am tired of flinching when the damn phone rings and I need to feel something else besides apprehension and stress? (on another note I have to admit, even though it was devastating, it "felt" easier to have a family member die without notice than dealing with all this - even though I truly believe in the long run, the grieving process is much more "smoother" with the longer process than the sudden) - meh....my heart hurts for the family.

i fucking HATE Father's Day. i hate the fact that a still miss a fucking asshole that abandoned me when i was 7 yrs old...and i hate the fact that part of me still wants to find him, just to see him again.

FUCK FUCK FUCK

I'm sorry you're hurting too, Hottie :rose: , and know the feeling. Strange... mine was a physically and emotionally abusive, belligerent, domineering, alcoholic son of a bitch about 99% of the time... and yet sometimes I remember the (very) few good times and miss them - or that there weren't more of them. And from the other side, I miss hearing from my now-21-year-old son who has refused any and all contact with me for the past 5 years plus, because I had the gall to divorce his mother. <Sigh> At least Father's Day is over for another year.

Palliative care , living Hell . I traversed that nightmare as the main advocate for my mother. My heart goes out to you Kierae :rose:

i love you guys.

[rant] what the fuck is wrong with some people? If you've tried to kill yourself not just once but several times, and you are still alive... does this make you pathetic and in need of help, an attention whore, of just a fucking loser? Dear god, get it right! if not the first time, then the second or third, please!
[end rant]

It might actually be over. I don't know how I feel. I have a headache.

I'm so hot.

No, I mean literally. Like, it's fucking hot in my office, and all I can think about is being shoved up against a wall and fucked. What do I do? Splash cold water on my face? I really need to concentrate...on NOT hot things.

Who knew that Lowe's was so BDSM oriented?
Here in the South, many of us prefer to go to Dom Depot (Home Depot). They have such a NICE collection of ropes, chains, clamps... all KINDS of stuff!
