You know how they say bad things happen in threes? Bull fucking shit. In my life they happen in fucking hundreds and thousands.

My sisters ex-boyfriend let himself into her apartment today and shot himself in her bed. Fucking asshole.

Holy shit, Grace! That's so awful. I'm so sorry!

I don't blame you for hating his guts. That's emotional terrorism, plain & simple. I remember reading that once one 'family' member commits suicide, the risk for the other members increases exponentially. I don't know if it's an issue here, but watch your sister carefully. Don't let that s.o.b. take her with him.

Hand squeeze.

Thank you, everyone.

My phone was turned off today. I'm not sure how long it'll be till my internet goes, too. We're supposed to get a substantial cost of living check SOMEDAY, so this might be moot point. But if I disappear from the internet for awhile thats why.

Yes, I'm glad he didn't 'hurt' anyone else. They're all alive. My sister came home from work and found his bloody body on her bed. She called me in hysterics. I'm so PISSED at him. Melissa was in hysterics. I called his sister, who broke down and cried. Tomorrow I gotta meet that crew that knows the proper procedure for disposing of bloody mattress'. I'm going to clean the house up for her too. My mom wants me to get stuff packed, and probably miss is going to want me to, too. But I won't until she asks me to. So I'm just going to get things ready to move. I'm going to pack his stuff, clean and organize everything else so that when she asks me to, I can just throw stuff in a box. That son of a bitch. If he was alive I'd fucking kill him.

Sorry for your troubles graceanne. :rose: Was he an abuser? I only ask as it is a common way for abusers to carry out the ultimate act of abuse on a partner...seems ridiculous, but they still do it in a final attempt to gain that control of the others' life, even if it is through their own death. Hopefully your sister won't let that happen to her.

He was not physically abusive, but he was emotionally and verbally abusive. He was also a drunk. Miss was kicking him out cause if she didn't she was going to lose her kids. He told her he was going to, but he's always saying that, the fucker. Just this time he did.

I came back online real quick to say that a friend of mine has offered to help me with my phone bill, so this probably won't be an issue. Thank you, everyone for your thoughts.

:( My sister is blaming herself. On the bright side their's lots of free counseling available in the area for her and the kids.

I don't know why this hurts as bad as it does. I hated that sanctimoneous asswipe. I can't imagine being in my sisters head right now. :(

Well he has reacted true to form of an abuser then and your sister mustn't blame herself. No matter the reason why someone suicides, it is their choice and there is not a whole lot you can do to stop them if they are determined to go through with it. The fact he did it on her bed is meant to hurt and haunt her...if he was doing it because he thought it was for the best, he would have chosen somewhere that did not have such a traumatic and deep effect on her. Sad thing is, he is the loser because he has taken his own life just to try and hurt and manipulate another....what a waste. Hopefully your sister will go for some experienced and good counselling for abused women where they will help her work through it and see it for what it was, another act of abuse against her and her children.

The crisis people gave us some numbers of good counselors. I'm hoping she'll start attending alanon again. *shrugs*

Moving absolutely SUCKS! Even when you're moving someone ELSE, if they're not *prepared* to move, don't have 80% of their crap boxed, bagged or otherwise ready to go! FUCK! I don't NEED this!

Ah, the joys of my life. I have NEVER moved a person who's ready. It's gotten to where I'll show up the day before and help them clean, so I'm not doing that AND packing them.

LOL So yesterday a longtime internet friend of mine mentioned she's kinky, so I sent her a link to my stories. Now she's picking my brain about bdsm. She's kinky, but doesn't know the terms. So then she sent the link to a friend of hers, who's also reading everything on my site. Fresh meat!

I've been called "Daddy" in the past... though I'm not currently looking.

I'll keep an eye out for you.

Actually, lots of doms would be quite happy to allow their sub to call them Daddy. Similarly, lots of subs wouldn't mind if their doms called them their little one. But in terms of how many identify as Daddies and girls/boys, as you have found they are much more rare. It's not an identity for everyone. For most people it's a game, one they are happy to play, so if you say "I am looking for a Daddy" some people will misunderstand and think you are playing a game too. If it's troubling you that much, you might try leaving it out of your profile and exchanging an e-mail or two before bringing up the Daddy issue.

Gracie, I am SO sorry to hear this. I have had suicide touch my family too.

This is true. The American Federation for Suicide Prevention says: "It has been established that individuals who have had a suicide in their families are at greater risk for suicide than those who have not." And of course it doesn't have to be one's immediate or extended family - one's chosen family, and even those one has separated from, can cause this to happen too. There's still research being done but it's pretty definite that being a survivor of someone's successful suicide does bad things to your mental health.

i think you're right Etoile...and i also think that it is partly the "community" where i live. Seems like if you're not a "pain pig" no one is interested..and your submissiveness is treated with skepticism. (i actually had a rather popular Dom in the community here tell me i better learn to love extreme pain if i ever want to find someone local. That pain sluts are the only ones the Doms even consider...or give any sort of attention to.) BLAH...just BLAH.

Yikes, if you're looking locally for a RL relationship, then that definitely cuts down your pool...sorry I can't be of more help? Maybe we should start a niche personals site JUST for Daddies/Mommies and boys******? (Gotta be open to all orientations though...no eHarmony-like shenanigans!)

I knew this. I'm watching, and I know my mom is, too. But if anything saves her it'll be her kids. She's not the type to abandon her children in any way.
