A man who makes cherry cheesecake. *Drool*
I have to admit it was out of a box... but I do: cook a bit more than decently, including 5- or 7-layer lasagna when I'm in the mood; I know where the clothes hamper is, and what it's for; and how to run the washer and dryer (in fact, I prefer to do my own laundry, and don't much mind doing it for others); how to wash dishes by hand (and get them clean), and how to put them away (when either the air or someone else has dried them - I *hate* drying dishes... go figger); how to pick up after myself (and others, lol); vacuum... I leave hard-surfaced floors mostly to others, though. I'll sweep 'em, but I absolutely *detest* mopping and waxing. I don't always make the bed when I get up. My desk is almost always a mess, but that's because I *work* there, not *live* there (even though it's in my bedroom, lol). I don't much like yardwork, but I'll ride the mower around when the grass gets up to the golden's belly.

Ummmm...will you marry me?
Sweetie, been there, done that, three times... and I'm an old baseball/softball player: three strikes and you're on the bench. ;) Besides, you're almost too young for me, lol - about 35 years difference if I remember correctly? (57-22?) (Hmmm... my last wife just turned 31 in May...) And I'm one of those nasty smokers (but thinking seriously of getting over that). However, I've been known to "play house" on occasion for a year or three or five... http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x95/Sir_Winston54/cool-smiley-014.gif

Do you put the seat down, too?

Ha! That's just an old wives tale.

Men who put the seat down.
As a matter of fact, I do. After having been married a total of <counting on fingers, toes, fingers again> 28 years, and 8 or so in live-in relationships, I've learned that nothing is more likely to induce a heart attack in a husband than the scream of a wife/partner whose tushie has just dropped into chill water at 3:00 a.m.

LOL *wheeze*

OMG The mental picture! LOL

Not true.

I trained both my brothers, and my sisters fiance does too. She'll occasionally say to him, "You know, it's the weirdest thing. I went by the washroom and I could have sworn that the seat was up!"
"Hmm," says he. "Let me go check....
*clank*nope, it's not up."
"How strange."

As for me, when we were remodelling I taped up an article at eye level for the boys when they were peeing about what could get flushed onto your toothbrushes if you left the actual lid up. As a result they would remember to put *both* the seat and lid down...
It stayed there for 6 months, long enough to become habit.

When I visited my brother's apartment I was happy to see the seat - and lid - down.

Congratulations!!! LOL, I well remember that feeling of freedom after 6 years full time study, and plenty of months of practical hands on training for which we didn't get paid. Getting your Masters sounds a good way to go, but perhaps a bit of a break from study and lessons might be a good idea first. Enjoy the celebrating. :rose:

Catalina :catroar:

Thanks, Cat. I've been partying a lot lately, actually. I've been pushing it way too much though, I think. I'm totally exhausted. I guess there is such a thing as celebrating too much for your own good, lol.

Out too late

I'm going back to bed. I'm taking the phone off of the hook and am going to wait until housekeeping breaks down the door before getting up again.

See, this is why C needs to live closer. Because this bus ride is sucking SO much ass.

My four year old son has developed a fondness for my panties. Now the fact that he has a thing for womens lingerie doesn't overly bother me, what does bother me is when I want to find my lingerie I can't find it because he has it hidden in his room!!
