He removed it because it was four or five years old and not entirely a "fair and accurate depiction" of his current appearance. The hair has gotten (even) thinner on top, and the beard has gone from mostly dark brown to mostly grey/white.

The color tone of the pic was deliberate. i wanted it to be subtle. i didn't think it was making it that difficult though.

No..i think it's funny because no one from here (this forum) asked me..yet they went to you...and let's face it...you and i have certainly had our differences. That is why i made the joke about you being the Wizard of Lit.

As for certain people possibly thinking i am unapproachable...it doesn't really concern me. i think several people that post here are "unapproachable" but other than that i don't really give them a second thought.

Thank you for the compliment on my AV though. i really like it as well. It's a different "look" for me so to speak.
