Piggie cage has an open top, but is in my son's room, upstairs, where the cat is not allowed to venture. It seems *someone* left either their room door open or the door that closes off the stairwell, and kitty went exploring.

Attacked and killed, but didn't eat. He kills mice outside all the time; I think he reasoned it was just a very big mouse.
