I mean, as long as persons are not saying username is such an asshole and here's why, I really don't see the reason for all the grife.

If I have a blurt and it relates to some one on these boards, I'm going to blurt, not to embarrass them, but because that's how I deal with things. I would do the same thing if they weren't on the boards. If I want to embarrass them then I'll use their name. If they assume that the blurt is directed towards them and then tell every one that I blurted bout them, then they are outing themselves, not me, and they are being the idiot, not me being a bitch.

and if it is bitchy of me, oh well, I'd do the blurt if they weren't on the boards so I'm not going to change just because they are. and if I gave a happy blurt than there wouldn't be an issue.

I think that it goes both ways. If your writing a blurt or Dear X to vent..and only to vent then yeah I can see that. If your writing a blurt or Dear X to "subtly" let the entire board know what's going on..and to take pot shots without confronting someone in person. Then I find that childish. Just my opinion, which may not mean shit...but there it is.

Sometimes when you have already said what you needed to say to the blurtee, your only power to vent can be found in your blurtings.

I think different circumstances call for different actions. I don't think it's right to make a victim of someone, but if the person you're blurting about is creating or has created unknown victims, your only power is in your blurt.
