And that's the way I think of the blurts. Unless some one outright says "Nala" in the blurt, I don't care and even if they do...so what. How many folkson here will I actually see face to face in my life time...hmmm.. I can think of only a few and that's because they are very good friends.

I think one of the dangers about the "blurt" is that people assume you are talking about them. Well, names can be named yes, but in most cases we are all pretty self-absorbed folks, and if someone posts something without contect, the first thought is "wait, are they talking about me?!!"

On the other hand, maybe I just blinked and missed all of the unsubstantiated rumours and backstabbing?

Sometimes when you have already said what you needed to say to the blurtee, your only power to vent can be found in your blurtings.

I think different circumstances call for different actions. I don't think it's right to make a victim of someone, but if the person you're blurting about is creating or has created unknown victims, your only power is in your blurt.

Blurt blurt blurt blurt blurt...

To me..and this is just me. If I've said everything I need to say to the blurtee..then I've let it go, and have no further reason to vent. If blurting helps get rid of unresolved pain for some..then ok. It's not the best way to do things in my opinion...but like I said before that's just me.
