On balance, the Olympics are incredible: A combination of a block party, summer camp, and Cirque du Soleil.

I love the Olympics. And this year has been especially amazing.

K. Simmons and Cynthia Addai-Robinson. The Accountant 2's story is expected to follow Addai-Robinson's Treasury Agent Medina teaming with Affleck's Christian Wolff and his brother, Bernthal's Brax, to solve the murder of her former boss.

Deadline has brought word that The Accountant 2 is set to hit theaters on April 25, 2025, putting the sequel in theaters just over eight years after its predecessor's release. Filming on the action-thriller follow-up began in March 2024 following a lengthy development cycle, with Affleck returning to lead the cast and Gavin O'Connor back to direct. At the time of writing, The Accountant 2 is the only major movie set for an April 25 release.
