The Kneeler Kaepernick

Also, according to the letter he sent the Jets through his agent he only asked to be considered for a spot on their practice squad. The absolute temerity to even ask for consideration, am i right AJ??
I mean, if everyone dredged up your past references to certain people, of a certain skin color, populating a certain island to be sub-human every time you attempted reinventing yourself that would be nothing short of monstrous!!

(pause for the irony to set in)

That said though, no one wants the media circus that would surely ensue for a practice squad player.

Not even the Jets.

All the political BS aside how much longer do we have to hear from his base that he should be playing-at this point he's been out of the game since 2017- Its the year 2035 and people are upset 48 year old Kaepernick should get a chance!

That and how much longer is he going to pretend he wants to play when in reality he knows his bread is buttered staying home and acting like a martyr. The guy had legit offers the first couple of years he was out and screwed himself out of all of them. Its also pretty telling when you're own mother calls you a fraud.

But whenever I think of him it show the priorities of NFL fans. They didn't like this guy kneeling, but they wear the jerseys of rapists, woman beaters, child beaters, guys who were caught with automatic weapons(illegally owned) and any other crime you can imagine.

That's okay though.

Kap was benched in week 9 of the 2015 season. Then he was beaten out in training camp by Gabbert in 2016. It was well known in the Bay Area that he was bitter about it. Beat writers reported on his struggles learning to adjust to defenses that adapted to the RPO which worked well for him coming off the bench for Alex Smith under Harbaugh. His problems intensified under incoming coach Chip Kelly. He simply couldn’t grasp the playbook.

He sat and sulked on the bench in street clothes during the national anthem for the first two preseason games of 2016. Didn’t say a word to anyone about his social justice gripes. In week 3, only after a single reporter noticed and asked him, did he put forth his newly found grievances. The world was wonderful for Kap until his football career hit the shitter. Lol.

He can run and has a strong arm. But in today’s NFL, that doesn’t cut it. Ability to read defenses, make quick decisions, place the ball with precision are critical. Takes hard work. Kap’s work ethic was, well, not great. Lol. And that is why even desperate teams like the Jets are still not interested.

He landed a great gig as a pitch man for Nike a while back.

If you think the above proves the below assertion in any way:

What has been forgotten in all this is the original reason for his protest. He had gotten beaten out for the starting QB job by Blaine Gabbert and was sulking over it.

...you should dismiss yourself from debating, permanently. A 7th grader could do better. :ROFLMAO:

lol sucks to have such a shitty memory....you kind of forgot about those three off season surgeries he had between the 2015/2016 season. What was it, Thumb, Shoulder and Knee....yep those could be a bit of a problem to overcome. It took till game 6 of the 2016 season before he was fully recovered. Then he started....
Hell I don't even follow football, and I seen to know more about it than you....

Yes, you definitely don’t follow football. His performance and locker room problems that led to his benching in 2015 was widely covered by national NFL reporters like Ian Rappaport and local beat writers.

FOX’s Jay Glazer reported on his network’s pregame show a week back that Kaepernick is “on an island inside that locker room.” CBS's Jason La Canfora added on, tweeting Monday that newly traded tight end Vernon Davis “was among those sick of Kap walking around team headquarters with headphones on all day,” all but confirming multiple reports of Kaepernick’s reclusive approach to his teammates.

When Gabbert sucked in 2016, Kap got another chance. It did not go well, especially that Bears game. That marked the inevitable ending.

So your going to deny he had three surgeries during the off season then, and started in game 6 because??? Well I'll give you an A for effort on this Boomer.....*chuckles*

PS if you're going to use a citation, pick anything that doesn't have FOX in it.........

So you have no proof.

Got it.

Those procedures were done in January of 2016 with a 3 month recovery timeline. Are you saying his locker room problems and the reason he was benched in 2015 and again in late season 2016 was due to injuries? And did you think Fox Sports and Fox News carry the same programming? Are Joe Buck, Michael Strahan, Howie Long, Terry Bradshaw and others on Fox Sports political hacks?

What has been forgotten in all this is the original reason for his protest. He had gotten beaten out for the starting QB job by Blaine Gabbert and was sulking over it. The whole “racial injustice” act came later, after local media called attention to his behavior.

Was Kap the starter on Aug. 26, 2016?

So now you're agreeing he had surgery. AS to the recovery time, who cares what a "prognoses" is prior to. He didn't have just one to recover from, he had three Boomer!! Thumb, throwing arm shoulder and knee.

Lets just bring out Jimmy the Greek too while you're at it. No I don't give a shit what any commentator said. The point is he was late recovering from the surgeries, otherwise why start him game 6, and keep him at #1? You claimed he lost the spot, remember?

Funny how much effort you're putting into this, to deflect from the topic of conversation, his kneeling......

It sounds like you’re saying Kap’s 2015 benching and problems with teammates were due to injuries, and that the routine surgical procedures he had in January 2016 (6 to 12 weeks) are the reason he lost his job to the legendary Blaine Gabbert in August, and again later in the regular season. And no doubt that’s why no team has signed him ever since, right?

Do you turn off the volume on your TV and listen to the radio during games broadcast by Fox Sports?

I have no idea why he was benched, I've never seen him play. The only pictures I saw were online (or new paper) shots of him kneeling.

I've not had a TV subscription of any kind, cable, satellite ect since 1989.

But again I also supported him kneeling, you didn't. Why is that? Lets get back to the topic at hand eh?

I turn the sound off on the TV and listen to the Rolling Stones to watch football. It's a better experience. I empty my bladder and get another beer before kick off.

Got it. You were not paying attention to the 49ers during the 2015-16 time frame, never saw him play, and don’t watch football on TV. If you’d lived in the Bay Area, followed the two teams, followed the beat writers, and watched games, you’d get it. Short story is he washed out, sulked on the bench, and then found his cause.

My question was for Fuzzy, but I like the Stones too. If I’m watching the 49ers, I turn down the TV volume and listen Greg Papa call the game. Best in the business.

So you're not going to go back to the topic at hand, which is his kneeling. Why's that?
We covered that. He got demoted, sulked on the bench, and after a couple weeks of that was confronted by a reporter. A social warrior was born.

Nah it's not covered. I asked if you supported it. Nice dodge. I'll keep asking, and you'll keep dodging answering.
