White Chocolate Cappucino w/Frangelico

In a small saucepan, add 2 oz. white chocolate squares, 2 cups of milk and heat on low until chocolate melts. Add 1/2 cup 18% table cream and 1/2 cup fresh espresso coffee and blend, raising temp to medium to bring to a low boil. Avoid scalding milk. When steaming, pour into mugs and add 1 1/2 oz. of Frangelico and stir. A dollop of fresh whipping cream on top with white chocolate shavings covering that.
makes 2 servings

Took a bit to find it again, but here it is. This was one of Lance GT's recipes. I went with 2% milk instead of the 18% cream, need to watch the waistline and cholesteral levels, lol.

Today it is back to work and no more holidays for a while... well for me anyway, my home office located in the UK is off for a public holiday still today.. Methinks the holiday schedule for this year needs to be reassessed.

No more Starbucks for me.. I have decided this year that the 3-4 morning stops have to cease and go back to being a treat. Fortunately, I do get their Italian Roast coffee beans and they are delicious so come in, sit down, stay a while and enjoy a chat with a neighbor.

Off to work for me but I leave you with the following thought for the day. There are two and they are dedicated to a special friend (you know who you are)

I made a wonderful new tea tonight, I thought I'd share with the Klatch.

7-8 fresh blackberries
1 tsp brown sugar (or honey)

Mash together in a mug, until very runny.

Add a tea bag of red raspberry Zinger ( or equivlent brand)
Fill with boiling water and stir

mmm mmm mmm mmm mm. I've been wondering what I was going to do with the leftover 2 tablespoons of raspberry puree I have in the fridge! I believe I've figured it out- I think the raspberries will work in place of the blackberries.

{{{Jenny}}} I was one of seven children and my mother always tells us when I was a baby/toddler she put me and my brother who is six years older in a room together because we were both early risers and would keep each other occupied so the rest of the household could sleep. I've always been that way... sleeping in is seven o'clock for me.
