The Last Daughter of Krypton OOC

My computer died back in Nov, and at that time I was half-assed playing Rift. (Not raiding, just screwing around mostly.)
Once that happened Skyrim came out, & i picked it up for my PS3 & got completely hooked back on old school RPG's you can pause!

No need to find 24 other people to explore content.
Pause for bathroom breaks.
& it was beautiful!

now in Feb we got our taxes in and I got this bad boy I am using now (HUMONGOUS upgrade!!!!)

Bought both Skyrim & TOR, but I just really am bored with the MMO model, while Skyrim is just sucking me in more & more.

TOR is fun, but I'm just *meh* about it.

Besides, Diablo 3 comes out may 15th!!!!!!! Wifes gonna be a computer widow for a while next summer!

Heya folks. How is everyone? I know its been a while, just kinda wanted to stick my head back in and see how everyone is. Truth be told, kinda miss writing with you lot.

DUUUUUUDDEEE!!!!!

Heh. I have been pretty good. School and work still suck, but thats life I guess. How have you been?

Still spending way too many hours going postal. Between that, the kids, the house (trying to get the yard in order) & my new digital crack Skyrim I am pretty busy.

Oh damn. Just picked up and read Earth Two and World's Finest. I think I am in love.

Just had this hit me. Tears you really do need to check out the Earth Two stuff. World's Finest really. Power girl isn't the way she has been. She is the Earth Two Super girl again. 'Nuff said.

yes that was a bit shocking.

But in the same breath I think it's an appropriate beginning to a new Earth two. Makes room for the characters Earth Two has almost always really been about.

Let's just hope they don't screw that up. At least from what I have seen and heard we don't have to worry about Al Pratt shrinking.

what i find interesting is that they decided to essentially redo the golden age of heroes as well. It's defiantely a different creative direction.

Part of me is a bit bent at that, but I am willing to give them some rope. I am enjoying the storyline so far and I am going to hope they make this a great thing. This sort of thing is what attracted me to the LoDK threads. The changes to the characters that have been around from the '40's to now.

I am willing to give them a chance with reimagining the golden age. With what I am seeing in this it is a fitting reimagining of the golden age and I will keep following it and I will hope it makes great stories. Hell, if you look at All Star comics number one, the JSA formed to beat hitler. Isn't Darkseid and Apokolips a match for that?
