The Last Daughter of Krypton OOC

Has anyone heard from Wyld? I dunno if I can keep Kara in idle mode for much longer =(

Sorry about the delay! Lit was being naughty when I left for a week long trip to a Scouting camp for Hubby! I'm back now though.

Again, sorry for the delay:).

I did not receive a PM from you, either.

But yes, it was the same village.

This is wholly strange.

I typed out the message.

I remember! I can see the keystrokes in my head. I even remember that a certain Orange Cat was wandering past when I was typing.

I must never have clicked the "send" button! :: horrors! ::

Anyway. I do terribly apologise. I was all snarky because you hadn't replied, and here I was not giving you anything to which you could reply.

I blame the redneck with the backhoe.

We're just very very extremely glad to have you back.

I thought something terrible had happened to you!

Like. Um. A shapeshifty alien A.I. thingy that looks like Spike from "Buffy," or something.

Whew.

J'onn and Rose met Kara in the loft, and I got to pen the first dialogue!

Whew.

How do you introduce Supergirl to her destiny? I did my best, hope it works for everyone, if not let me know. Of course the dialogue is still ongoing....

Whew.

It has begun.

Of all the people that I wouldn't reply to, you are so not in that group.

I'm not really sure who is actually in that group.

I certainly would never reply to anyone who speaks like the priest from The Princess Bride.

Or anyone who's name was Zuul or Gozer.

"Many subs and Zuuls knew what it meant to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you!"

Awh yoo th' gatekeepuwh?

In case no-one noticed?

The four laptops are green, red, black, and silver.

All of these are colours of Kryptonite.

Chas, did I give Dale a cool enough ride for Pete? I hope he approves. He has very high standards.

Suffice it to say?

I am researching a really long string of Spanish incredulities for Pete to utter when he sees this thing.

'The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is the quickest accelerating and decelerating street-legal production car in the world, and was the world's fastest street-legal production car until the introduction of the SSC Ultimate Aero Twin Turbo produced by Shelby SuperCars.

Powered by a 1,001 PS (987 hp/736 kW) W16 engine, it is able to achieve an average top speed of 407.47 km/h (253.19 mph).'

Woohoo! Eat my dust, Romanaclef 5200!

Dude Top Gear has to be good for something other than great interviews with David Ten-Inch and Billie Piper! I stumbled on this by mistake tryin to find a list of cars featured on the show, and it looked bad ass.

Ahhh, Internet Serendipity.

I've based whole character backgrounds on stuff I stumbled onto through Google.

but the Aeros reverse sucks

yeah but right now i am wishing supes would make an appearance for us or at least hand off bruce again.

Well.

He did sort of imply in a PM once that I should take over the character if he's ever gone for a long period of time? Just 'till he gets back?

But I'm reluctant to do that, because I like Supes and I don't want him to feel like he's being made to ride the bench because of impatience.

Should I just go ahead? Is that what we're thinking? :: frets ::

Also, I hate to be the bearer of bad cliffhangers, but AmenRa is going to be away for a few days, taking what I think is a much-deserved vacation of sun and surf.

I wished him a safe return on all y'all's behalf. :: nodnod ::
