The Last Daughter of Krypton OOC

Chas....

you're so.....

weird.

But in a lovable, squeezable, I-think-you're-awesome, way.

:D

I think... that you should all join my Supergirl thread >_>

Call this shameless self-promotion ^^

Oh, and Chas is bloody brilliant, and anyone that sez otherwise will find themselves crying for their mommy.

anyone who says otherwise i'm kicking in the shin & taking away their cookies

& i was thinking about it Tears, just not sure who I wanted to play

( & BTW, another distracting avitar)

I am just a Little Crazy Person.

Like River Tam, or Andie McPhee.

I wear glasses and talk to imaginary people, and turn my cats into friends for superhero alien hybrids.

I'm scared of the sunlight and scared of the dark and I always wonder when I go out on the road about how many of my counterparts in the multiverse have died in car accidents and whether it's my turn this time.

But sometimes I make a sentence that looks pretty good on the page and that makes me happy.

It can be.

Oh, it can be.

In Isle of Skye in Scotland, it's said that they only receive four official days of Summer.

I saw one once. It was most unnatural.

There's a whisky from Skye that is particularly good, Talisker is the name. Very smoky, not overly done peaty flavour (to use the British spelling of course). I don't hold it nearly as high as Oban, which is a Speyside single malt I believe, or even Glennmorangie, which is made near where my ancestors are from (according to my grandmother - she's 92 and pretty damn accurate when it comes to stuff like that).

I think the next time I'm in Scotland, I'll pay me a visit to Skye and see if I can catch one of these four days....

While you're there, if it's rainy out (probably) and you want to spend some time indoors (yes), be sure to visit The Castle Dunvegan, ancestral home of The Clan MacLeod.

I can't promise you that you'll run into any adorable immortal guys but it's still a fascinating site historically.

And then there's The Faerie Flag. Not much to look at at this point, but the legend surrounding it is most intriguing.
