& DVD REVIEW

Gotham Knight (new animated Batman DVD)

worth the money

special features ain't crap either

remote titanium window covers, THEN the mines!

(Claymores have a nasty backblast area)

Really?

In the comics-- especially Garth Ennis' "Punisher" stuff --they have this thing where it says "This Side Toward Enemy."

I just figured you'd face that side towards the raptors and just go.

they do say that, but remember it's a brick of C4 explosive in a plastic case with ball bearings on one side.

not really a shaped charge.

so for about 10-20 yards behind one, it can be very bad!!!!

& if you take the lightsaber out of the equation, that would be a good fight.

Maul would kick Tam's butt tho.
Force Choke FTW!

good question. can a Jawa take down a lightsaber???

how many Wookies does it take to get to the..... nevermind.

All the Wookies in the "Star Wars" galaxy versus all the Klingons in the "Star Trek" galaxy.

I've heard of this one before, and I agree with the person who said it, whomever they may be.

In a fight between The Wookies and The Klingons, the winner would be the audience.

Oo-er.

That seems like there's kind of a lack of foresight involved.

Shaped charges not FTL!

So can he.
Plus Force Lightning
Force Choke
Telekenisis

She might be able to take Vader because of his limited mobility, but Darth Maul would take her out.

(NOw their luv child on the other hand.....)

i've messed with them.

you definately want to be behind cover when you set one off, preferable about 25-30 feet away & behind cover.

Frikin loud too!

Darth Maul would maybe maybe fight River to a standstill.

They'd be panting and bleeding and he'd move in to finish her off with a killing blow.

But then Mal would stride in through Serenity's front cargo doors and pop Maul in the face with a shot from his pistol, simple as you please, and then Mal'n'Jayne'd dump him out for the vultures.

Darth Maul would come back later, of course, in a three-issue miniseries, and he'd have a bionic eye? But his depth perception would never quite be the same after that BULLET TO THE FACE.

depends on how you carry it off Chas.

(on another note, my DSL is being flaky, actually on my phone now. posting may get MORE spoadic!)

I guess if you were going to play a Force-wielding character that actually gave a crap about people and was nice and polite and all, you may as well play a Jedi.

(Kind of makes me wonder though, if I could pull that off. A sympathetic Sith?)

Actually, the Sith are nor so much discompassionate as one would believe.

The Force is niether light nor dark, it is the Force user that decides this parameter. The Jedi, while on the side of the light, disallow the use of emotions and passions to drive their use of the Force. The Sith, however, encourage the building and supporting of compassion, love, hate, anger, and other emotions to drive their powers.

However, the division is this: the Jedi believe their use of the Force is for the good of all. The Sith believe their use of the Force is for themselves. This is the point where the 'sympathetic Sith' is, while possible, short-lived. The Sith would only be sympathetic or empathetic to another's plight as long as it was self-serving them in the end.

(I bet you had no idea I was a Jedi Master and Force Historian, too, huh?)
