But this line is incomprehensible to me:

Instead of walking forward through the tube the generator opened the tube below the room and the room fell through to the next location.

inside is a room much like the room at wayne towers that is the other "batcave" think of it is bigger inside the chamber than it is outside the chamber but still fits inside. hate to say it its like how the police box works in dr who though done with a different type of technology. inside the room you will find the actual boomtube generator. but not this huge thing like in the middle of the police box. the room itself is quite large. one side is the equivialent of a medbay. the other is a rather large computer system. not quite as large as the Batman's but still a large set up with multiple monitors. Damian actually never studied up on what all of them do. but it is a room not a jump.

the tube itself actually drops through the actual boom tube that opens vertically rather than horizontally think how the phone booth drops down when bill and ted dial the number in the bill and ted movies. the normal boom tube opens horizontally where the users have to walk through leaving the actual boom tube generator behind. this way the actual generator in the chamber drops with the user. Never leaving them stranded if they have to use the "lets get the hell out of here" card.

So it is an inter dimensional TARDIS rather than a Boom Tube ala DC Comics??? Right.

I dressed up as myself.

My costume involved huddling in my room with a cat and my laptop with the lights out front turned off so I wouldn't have to talk to strangers.

I don't have a camera.

I like Hallowe'en on principle, I love it to bits.
