There's Talking Animals, and there's the regular kind. You're not supposed to cook the Talking ones, Aslan said so.

But this one time, while the main characters are eating supper, their hosts start talking about how the stag they're eating-- I think in stew, or something? --protested that they wouldn't like him, that he wouldn't taste very good.

It was kind of horrifying for them that they were eating a Talking creature.

So.

That was kind of obscure.

This week I blew up a spaceship with Kryptontech, magic, and a chunk of Kryptonite embedded in someone's brain.

And over in The SRP I saved someone's life through Airbending.

AQ40 was definitely a lot of fun learning when it was first introduced. I really wanted one of those black bug mounts =(
