"Don't call me that," Rain muttered as she pushed her way past her stepfather and into the kitchen area of the double wide trailer.

"What? Sweetcheeks?" Dwayne said as he sat his beer can down and reached for another one. "Sorry, didn't know you had grown so sensitive, Rainbow."

"Don't call me that either," the teenager said, this time without muttering. She stared holes through the back of her stepfather's head, but looked down when he turned around to watch her.

"Look, if you don't want me to call you sweetcheeks, maybe you shouldn't be strutting around here in your panties," Dwayne accused her, taking another long swig of beer.

"I'm wearing long pants, asshole," Rain responded from behind a curtain of long, silky black hair that fell down in front of her face.

"Yeah, well you weren't last night were you," Dwayne's voice was louder now and he took two steps toward the kitchen before he stopped himself. "Last night you were parading around here in those little pink panties, weren't you? Showing off that tight little ass. Sure seemed like you wanted me to look."

"You're such a pig, Dwayne," the teenager replied as she tucked the sandwich she'd made into a bag and stuffed into a small lunch bag with some carrot sticks and yogurt. With the lunch bag tucked under one arm, Rain started toward the door. Her stepfather moved to block her, and when she tried to shoulder her way past him he grabbed her elbow in a vice like grip.

"Where the fuck do you think you're going?" he asked, his rank breath causing the raven haired girl to wrinkle her nose.

"Mom, I'm going to Rachael's house," Rain yelled loud enough to be heard in the back bedroom of the trailer. Dwayne released her elbow and walked away muttering something about 'cock-teasing bitches'.

Rain was out the door before he could change his mind. As soon as the door slammed shut behind her she ran around to the pickup truck on the backside of the lot. The truck was up on cinder blocks and hadn't moved in two years, which made it the perfect hiding place for Rain's small back pack full of clothes and personal items. Pulling the bag from beneath the truck, the teen quickly looped the strap on her lunch bag through the handle on top of the back pack, then swung it over her shoulder.

Ten minutes later, dressed in a black t-shirt and gray pants, Rain was walking along the highway, in the opposite direction of Rachael Fenton's house, one hand holding her bag on her shoulder, the other hand extended out in the direction of the road, her thumb in the air, hoping that someone would stop and give her a ride as far away from home as possible.

Tommy MacArthur could not quite believe the sight he saw up ahead on the side of the road. He slowed his Camaro down as he approached her, noticing the sweet curves of her body, her arm out, thumb up.

Looking for a ride. Who was he to deny her such a simple favor?

Who was he, anyways? Nobody of import. A college student, en route from his east coast home to his university in California. Here he was in Indiana, still a long way to go, and quite eager for some company. He was twenty-one years old, a music major. His guitar and amp took up all of the tiny back seat of the Camaro, and his clothes and other necessities filled the little trunk of the black muscle car.

He pulled the car to a stop next to the sexy young hitchhiker, and pressed the button to roll down the passenger-side dark tinted window. He was ruggedly handsome, and well built, with long dark hair and dark chocolate brown eyes.

In the oppressive, humid heat of the Indiana summertime, the cool air coming from inside the car was welcome.

"Need a lift?" he asked her, lowering his aviator sunglasses...

After nearly forty five minutes of walking without a single car slowing down or stopping, the sound of the camaro's engine idling down was like sweet music to Rain's ears. She dropped her bag where she was and walked over to the car, pushing her sunglasses up onto her head.

"Need a lift?" the guy inside asked. He was young, older than Rain, but still young enough not to be a dirty old man, which was all the teenager kept imagining as she'd tried to hitch a ride.

"Hey," she said, tentative as she leaned down to the open window, the cool air from inside the car sending goosebumps up her arm. "Thanks for stopping, I was starting to give up hope."

"I'd love a lift...as far as you can take me," she added, smiling before turning and grabbing her pack.

"My name's Rain," she said as she slid into the passenger seat. She pushed her bag down into the floorboard between her knees, then reached for the seatbelt which she pulled across her chest and clicked into place. The belt pressed tight between her breasts, accentuating her large c-cups, which she normally went to extra lengths to hide from her perverted stepfather.

"Rain, huh?" he replied, revving the engine as she shut the door and clicked her seatbelt on. "I'm Tommy," he continued, pressing on the gas and sped out onto the roadway, the tires peeling out with a squeal as he did.

"I'm heading west, all the way to California," he said, reaching into his shirt pocket and pulling out a pack of cigarettes. He popped one in his mouth, and lit up, cracking his window.

He held the open pack out for her. There were several regular cigarettes inside, and what were clearly a couple of hand-rolled joints in there as well. "Cigarette?" he offered, looking over at her, not exactly trying too hard to keep his eyes from lingering on the swell of her breasts on either side of the seatbelt she wore.

California, that was certainly far enough to get away from Dwayne, but the teenager honestly hadn't expected to find someone willing to take her that far. She'd pictured herself hitching rides from a half dozen different drivers just to make it out of the state and now she had one person willing to take her all the way to California. Suddenly her half-baked attempt to runaway from her home and her life was very real. Her heart began to beat a little faster, and her stomach tightened.

What was she going to do once she got to California? She didn't know anyone there. That's the idea, right? Get as far away from the people you know as possible. So stop second guessing yourself and just be glad that Dwayne is in the rear view mirror.

"Cigarette?" Tommie asked, holding out the open package after taking one for himself.

Hmmm. Speaking of half-baked, Rain thought as she spotted the joints mixed in with the regular cigarettes. She could definitely go for one of those, but decided it would be rude to ask. If she played her cards right, Tommie might offer to light one up later.

"No, thanks," she answered. "So, California, huh? Is that where you're from, or are you just visiting someone?"

"Actually, I'm heading to college out there," Tommy replied. He took a drag on his cigarette and blew the smoke out the window. He glanced over at her, admiring for a moment her long, smooth, tanned legs, and the swell of her breasts on either side of the seatbelt.

This trip wasn't going to be nearly so bad, he thought.

"So how far am I taking you?" he asked, tossing the spent cigarette out the window. "I'm fixing to get a motel outside of St Louis for the night," he said. The sun was already getting low in the sky as they crossed into Illinois on Interstate 70.

A motel? The idea made the teenager nervous.

"Uhm, well, honestly California is sounding pretty good right about now. Anywhere but here is sounding pretty good though," Rain answered, hoping Tommie wouldn't ask too many questions.

"I don't have much money, but I might be able to give you some gas money, you know, if you can take me all the way," she offered, still unsure about the idea of staying in a motel with a stranger. How many times would they have to do that before they got to Cali? Would he expect anything in return for his generosity?

If he did, would it be worth it to get away from Dwayne?

"I don't want to be a nuisance," she added, glancing over at the handsome college student.

"Well, you'll only be a nuisance if you try to make me sleep on the floor," Tommy was quick to reply, with a chuckle. He had noticed that she didn't have a whole lot of stuff with her, at all. Basically just a backpack. And she seemed fresh out of high school, though he had no idea how much money she might have.

He looked over at her, and winked. "Though I wasn't planning to pay for anything more than a single room," he said, giving her a smirk. "And gas money would be nice. I'm sure we can work something out," he continued.

"So, just bored with Indiana? Or is there some other reason you're hitching a ride out of town?" he asked her, popping open the cigarette box again, this time pulling out a joint and sparking it up...

Rain turned her face toward the window, wincing slightly at Tommie's comments about the bed and the single room and his assurance that they could 'work something out'. What did you think stupid, that he was going to give you a ride all the way to California, let you stay in the motel rooms with him and not expect something in return?

As the teen started to reconsider her request to go all the way to California, she smelled the familiar scent of weed burning. Turning her head back she saw that her benefactor had decided to smoke up after all.

"So, just bored with Indiana? Or is there some other reason you're hitching a ride out of town?" he asked.

"Just need a change, you know?" the dark haired girl answered somewhat vaguely. "Too much shit here. Shit I'm tired of dealing with."

"Can I get a hit of that?" she asked, not caring anymore if she was being rude.

"Absolutely," Tommy replied, handing the smoking joint over to the teenager. He blew his own hit of smoke out the window, and looked over at her. He could tell she was getting a little nervous, or worried, or something.

"This your first time hitching a ride?" he asked, watched as she puffed on the joint. A nervous thought raced through his mind.

"You are eighteen, right?" he asked her.

Rain grinned as she accepted the joint from Tommie, and eagerly lifted it to her lips, taking a long, slow hit. She nearly coughed when she heard Tommie's questions, but somehow managed not to. Ignoring the questions for the moment, the teenager rolled her window down and puffed smoke out into the open air. Afraid that he might not react so well to the knowledge that she had run away from her home, Rain took another hit off the joint.

When she finally released the second hit, and handed the joint back to the handsome college student, Rain finally answered him, at least in part, "I've hitched rides before, you know, in to town, or back home. Never to California." The dark haired girl laughed at that and smiled at the driver.

"What about you, you have a habit of picking up hitchhikers?" she asked.

He chuckled. "Nah, this is the first time I've ever spotted anyone worth picking up," Tommy replied, taking the joint back from Rain and toking on it before handing it back to her.

"So I guess this is a first for both of us," he said. She didn't seem too keen on divulging too many personal details, and Tommy wasn't about to push the issue. The road stretched out before them, and soon they were crossing into Illinois, the sun beginning to set in the horizon before them.

They smoked another joint, about an hour later, and it wasn't too terribly long after that when they crossed the Mississippi, the sun was down, darkness falling over them, and he got off the highway and pulled to a stop in a gas station.

"Time to fill 'er up," Tommy said, getting out of the Camaro to pump some gas. He took the keys and went inside the gas station, returning with a twelve-pack of cheap beer. There was a motel quite close, and he drove the car towards it, once the tank was full.

"Last stop for the night," he said, looking at her. "You staying with me, or you wanna try your luck with the truckers?" he asked her, with a pretty good idea what she would say.

By the time they pulled into the gas station, Rain was thoroughly chill, thanks to the two fat joints they'd smoked. Thoroughly chill except for the insane case of the munchies she had, also thanks to the two fat joints they'd smoked. While Tommie started to pump the gas, the raven haired teenager went to the restroom inside the gas station. Before returning to the car, she stopped to buy some chips, some slim jims and a coke.

The bag of chips was half empty and the slim jim a distant memory by the time Tommie returned to the car with the twelve pack of beer under his arm. Five minutes later they were back on the road and Rain was sipping coke, her bare feet sticking out the side window of the car.

"You staying with me, or you wanna try your luck with the truckers?" Tommie asked as they pulled into the parking lot of a cheap looking motel.

The word truckers immediately conjured up images of fat, bearded men wearing greasy hats, men with beer bellies hanging over their belts, short, thick fingers, men like Dwayne, or worse.

"Uhm, if you're sure you don't mind, I'd really like to stay with you tonight," Rain answered hopefully.

"Good," Tommy replied, a kind of hungry grin on his face before he got out of the car and went into the hotel to get the room. He returned a few minutes later, pulled the car around to the side of the building, parked in front of their room and cut the engine.

"Well, come on," he said, getting out, grabbing his bag and the case of beer.

He looked across the street; there were neon signs astride a rusty building advertising what was clearly a strip club of some sort. He smirked. That could be fun. At least he'd have something to do if this chick turned out to be a prude.

"Ever been to a strip club?" he asked her, as nonchalantly as possible, as he opened the door, nodding to the lights across the street.

As the roar of the camaro's engine finally died away, Rain swore she could hear her heart pounding in her chest. She was resigned to the decision she'd made to stay with Tommie and to do what she needed to do to get to California, but she couldn't help but feel nervous. He seemed cool, but the truth was, she didn't know much about him at all. If her nerves weren't dulled by the pot, she knew she'd have probably been a wreck, as it was the anxiety she felt was a tightness in her stomach and a slight increase in her heart rate.

Pushing her fears aside for the moment, the teenager climbed out of the car, slinging her bag over her shoulder as they started toward the motel room.

"Ever been to a strip club?" Tommie asked, nodding toward a small building across the street.

"Oh, uhm, no," Rain answered. "I had a friend who worked at one, but I've never actually been in one." The truth was, her 'friend' was her aunt Wendy who worked as a bartender at a strip club back home.

"I'm so tired. I can't wait to go to..." Rain's voice trailed off as she stepped into the hotel room and flipped the light on, revealing the fact that not only was there only one bed, but the bed was very small. She gulped then forced herself to move on into the room, dropping her pack by the dresser.

"Tired?" Tommy scoffed, dropping his bag on the bed, claiming it. "C'mon, I'm not drinking this beer by myself! Besides, you just think you're tired cuz you're stoned," he said. He cracked open a beer and offered it to her.

"I think you just need the right kind of pick-me-up," he said, winking at her as he flipped the latch closed on the door, locking it tight.

He looked her up and down; she had the kind of long smooth tan legs that were perfect wrapped around a guy's waist, and such a luscious, full pair of tits... Tommy couldn't wait to get his hands on them!

"Uhm...you're probably right," Rain said, deciding that maybe she should delay getting in bed, or anything associated with the bed as long as possible, especially considering the way Tommie was looking at her. It wasn't that different than the way Dwayne looked at her, except of course, Tommie was much cuter than her stepfather, and nicer and not married to her mom.

"Maybe a beer would be good," the teenager agreed, walking over to get one. Rain didn't really like the taste of beer, but she thought it might help her calm down and go through with whatever came next.

"Do you want to watch some television?" she asked as she popped her beer open and took a long swallow.

"Yeah, sure, put the TV on," Tommy replied. "And grab me one of them beers..." he smirked, waiting for her to get one for him.

"Although that's not quite the kinda pick-me-up I was talking about," he said, winking at her. He reached into bag and pulled out a small leather zip-up bag, like a school pencilcase, and opened it up.

First he pulled out a razor blade, and an old credit card, and then a small clear plastic baggie.

A small, clear, plastic baggie filled with some kind of white powder.

"I mean, beer's good and all, don't get me wrong. But this stuff will keep you partying all night long," he said, opening the baggie and dumping some of the powder out on the bedside table, and taking the razor and cutting up the white rock into a fine powder!

As Rain turned around to pass a beer to Tommie, she saw the small case he'd opened and it's contents and did a quick double take. She knew what it was instantly, being from where she was, and living the life she'd lived, it was hard not to know about cocaine, crack, heroin, and meth, not to mention prescription drugs that were used recreational. But most of her knowledge was second or third hand. Beyond pot, Rain's personal experience was limited to a couple of nights using X and a handful of times using prescription drugs while partying with her friends.

Tommie, on the other hand, seemed to know what he was doing, she noticed. Setting his beer down on the bedside table, she took a step back but continued to watch as he used the razor blade to cut the powder.

"I've never..I mean...I've always kind of wondered what it would be like, but," the teen said nervously as she pushed several strands of black hair back behind her ear. "What does it do to you?"

Tommy glanced up at her and winked, a smile snaking up the side of his face.

"Well it'll wake you up, that's for sure," Tommy said, sniffing a bit as he started to rake the fine powder out into lines. He focused intently as he carefully formed the lines, long and thick of the white powder.

"Cocaine," he explained, "hits your bloodstream and floods you with a euphoric high, a body and head buzz that's out of this world, amazing energy and drive, focus..." he said, pulling out a couple of short straws. This was going to be too much fun! He couldn't wait to get this sexy young thing buzzing and bouncing around this cheap motel room...

"It's easy," he explained. "Straw up your nose, use your thumb to close your other nostril, snort as you drag the straw along the line... Like this," he said, and promptly bent over and snorted up a line into his nose! He breathed in sharply, throwing his head back and snorting a couple more times, the line of powder gone up his nose. "Fuck, yes," he said, grabbing his beer and taking a swig.

The first line was always the best, the rush hitting him quickly, overwhelming his senses for a blissful moment before settling into a very pleasant, active high. He handed her the other straw.

"Go for it," he said, his eyes locked with hers. It wasn't a question.

Rain listened as Tommie described the effects of cocaine on a person's system...euphoric high...buzz...out of this world...amazing energy...she was sold, sure that it had to be an improvement on how she was feeling at that moment...confused...nervous...ashamed...lonely...

The teenager watched carefully as the handsome college student snorted the first line of white powder into his nose. When he offered Rain the straw she didn't hesitate, bending over and placing the end in her nose. She quickly snorted half a line up the straw, and then jerked back up, one hand pinching her nose closed as if she feared the cocaine would fall out.

She'd only done half a line, scared that too much too fast might overwhelm her, but as the initial rush hit her brain, causing her eyes to widen as every nerve in her body seemed to awaken, the teenager leaned back over and quickly finished the rest of the line.

"Wow," she said as she stepped back and tried to hand the straw back to Tommie. The raven haired girl fumbled the straw and dropped it to the floor.

"Oh...oh, sorry...fuuuuccckkkkkkk...I think I need to sit down for a second..." Rain announced before plopping down onto the bed.

"Yep, yep, here ya go," Tommy said, sliding an arm around behind the teenage runaway as she plopped onto the bed beside him. He grabbed her beer off the bedside table, and a moment later she found it in her hand.

"Go ahead, wash it down with that," he said, encouraging her. He was impressed; she had gone right for it, and had done the whole thick line in just two tries.

He knew the next would go up much easier.

He took his own straw and bent over the coke once again, and snorted up another line. He practically jumped up off the bed when he got it all, wound up. "Fuck, yes," he said, moving across the room. He grabbed his smartphone from his bag and a moment later it was blaring music, some kind of techno stuff.

"God that's good shit," he said with a smile, eyeing Rain as she sat on the bed. He took a drink from his beer, watching her curiously. He had a pretty good feeling about tonight...

Rain was still trying to come to grips with the changes in her body, like the fact she seemed to be able to feel her blood rushing through her veins, or the fact that she was sure she could hear her heart beating in her chest, or the fact that her nipples had grown diamond hard. Then suddenly, the room was filled with dance music, music that seemed to go straight through her skin and her bone and work its way into her brain. Every beat seemed to be an electric shock to her mind and before she knew what she was doing, the teenager was up on her feet, dancing to the music.

She finished her beer and grabbed a second one while continuing to dance from one side of the motel room to the other, until she ended up in front of Tommie, dancing in front of him, her hands reaching out to touch his arms...

Tommy watched her as she danced; she had a natural fluidity to her movements, and he couldn't help but wonder how that aspect of her would translate to the bed... he snorted, a stray bit of coke stuck in his nose hitting his head as she came up to him, her hands touching his arms, and his own hands returned the touch, sliding up her arms to her shoulders, and then down her back, til they found a grip on her slim hips. He pulled her bodily against himself, acutely aware of her hard nipples poking out the thin fabric of her shirt.

"Good stuff, huh?" he asked her in a heated whisper in her ear, his body moving with hers, his manhood stiffening in his jeans, almost painfully from the fabric restraining him. His head was spinning from the coke, but he was intently focused on the young woman in front of him, her body rubbing against his...
