The lonely hearts thread

I had to work, but it was moderate, so I didn't mind. Not too big on Easter in general, but I do miss the food get-together thing!

I just wanted to complement you on your fantastic art work! ;)

I never flatter. The truth always works much better. (That orange, form fitting, see through. OH MY!!! :p :p :p :p :p :p :)

damn shame you can't see and/or rip it off me ;)

I've been feeling the lonliness today.

Its spring and this year everyone seems to have gone half mad. :) Lust and love is in the air. All over threads here, and on streets, in parks, in malls.

It hasn't helped at all that I've been thinking of things I miss, and listening to country music.

try being around married people with kids all weekend...and seeing them being happy and doing family things...

I miss that...family things...picnics...family dinners...sharing time with each other...

and I have lost all that...

I know what you mean. I'm a relationship, family oriented person. I loved to do the holidays up. Now thats all changed. I was in a bad marriage so I wasn't happy anyway.

I'd rather be on my own than in a bad relationship.

Still its difficult to not be in a situation thats best for me.

same here...but I left mine 6 years ago...and been alone ever since...

every year it gets harder and harder to witness it all around me...yet I have to experience it from the outside,....

the solitude is excruciatingly painful at times....

I'm sorry to hear that your going through this. I know it can be hard. I don't know what might work for you, but for me, just living my life and being as happy as possible. Remembering that its better to be alone than in a bad relationship.

I didn't date for several years after I left my now ex husband. Then I dated, one longer relationship, almost 2 years. Then short dating experiences. I knew and in most cases they knew at the same time we weren't compatable.

I know what I want and need, so its easy to tell if its not right.

Its hard to find the right person. Someone thats compatable with me.
