shuffles back in, blanket still around her but a little colour in her cheeks that was missing earlier

Hello...anyone...everyone...

a smile as she settles into her chair

I'm not too shabby. My coffee is particularly dark and thick this morning, which is just how I like it.

Lol you can keep that. Coffee and I are not friends, no matter how tempting it smells.

@ a pretty witch- It's okay hehe. Just bruised. It didn't swell up last night :) how's your back?

Glad to hear that!
My back's almost totally better, thanks, but stomach flu decided to invade our house last night, and I was it's chosen victim.

Starting to feel a little more human now though...

sighs

I didn't really start drinking it until my mid-20s, but I'm now well and truly a fan.

That's good. The stomach virus is going around. One of my co workers has it an we all told her to stay home, even if it means there are only 5 of us. Because she'll infect us all an we'll be screwed lol

@LCN - I'm in my late 20s and still can't do it lol

I was that way with tea. I mean, I'm English, so there was always a fair amount of tea involved in my upbringing.

grins

But it's only since I met Mr Brit that I learnt to love it as I do now.

It's an awful thing.

grumbles

And ridiculous how incapacitating it can be!

And I'm slipping into my late 40s and I still can't stand the taste of coffee either. The smell is enough to stop me wanting to try it.

Your tummy is important to your body, love. So important that when its sick, you are useless. Body defense mechanism so that it heals right

I love the smell of it....but every time I try and taste it....my taste buds brutally remind me that I'm stupid lol

On the mend...slowly but surely...

smiles

Oh, good! :rose:

There may be a story in the works that I think you'll be interested in... I'll have to let you know when it shapes up more.

I'm not too bad, thanks. It's shaping up to be quite a long day...You?

Oh, okay. Lot of studying to do. Sometimes my lazy days leave me scrambling just a little.

Nope, no trips to little hick towns today, so no soup. I'll figure something out, though.

Hah! I'm sure you will, you're a pretty clever Cat!
