Umm...because it's probably in a large, old building and they have notoriously bad HVAC systems?

My roommate and I don't much like the cold, so our window is always slightly open. But even with it open, it doesn't make sense how inconsistent the temperature is. The heaters are only on at night, I think, so through out the day, there should be more.... Stability...
