Winces

I just can't do the beer after a run thing.....I can't do beer period...but after a run?

Makes scrunched up, disgusted face

grins at the disgusted Tigress

Well, if you don't like it to begin with, not surprising that you wouldn't like it after a run. But, just so you know, this is maybe an hour and a half after the run. Run, Gatorade, shower, let body temperature come back down...then beer.

That does help lol. I know people who run marathons and then literally....like when they cross the finish line?

Beer....

Yeah, that's not me. For one, I have yet to run a marathon, though it looks like I'm doing my first half in October. For another, I can't imagine that the first thing that I'd want after crossing the marathon finish line would be a beer. To lie down and die, maybe, but not really beer.

Walks in, glaring at the evil Tess, and sits on the couch, a tank top and a skirt, thankful for the spring weather.

Hey everyone.

I know, right! I was like "How can you do that?!?" I'd be dead. I'm not a distance runner, really. Yeah, I played soccer and I can do it. But I was a goal keeper. It didn't need to be my strong suit. Sprinting did.

Smiles and waves at a pretty Tess.

jumps up to give a Mr. Petite snugglekisses

Hey trouble.

*returns snugglekisses belatedly*

No, you're Trouble. I'm Fr33k. :p

Not too bad, thanks. You?

Also not too bad. Not looking forward to going back to work, but oh well...

A quiet sigh,

the sound of typing

*hops up to give hugs to the lovely lupine lady*

Hey everyone.

Hello Mz. Lily.

*eyes wander over tank top and skirt clandestinely, following the lines and angles of her legs before he returns to his seat.*

nods in agreement

Yes, 'keepers tend to be more sprinters and strength-focused athletes than the gazelles that play in the midfield. I was usually a right back, but we played a 3-5-2, so I was a more defense-minded right back than these converted wingers that you see in the game now endlessly marauding up the flank. We had midfielders for that. :D

Waves back with a smile.

Hey there, Monsieur Fr33k.

snickers helplessly and pulls a pillow over her face.

Throws a pillow at her

Waves to Lily, wondering why she's glaring at Tess when usually it's adoring looks.

Thinks they are both full of mischief

She's been distracting me with yummy pictures!

Hehe indeed. We usually played 4-4-3. Flat back four. Offensive and defensive center mids and two outside wingers and three staggered, penetrating strikers.

And how does this earn her glaring looks?

Pauses

Nevermind. I've been there when Ruffles decides to share his rather large collection of suit pics.

Hang in there doll and be glad you don't have to ask permission to touch anything.

winks at Tess

grins, shaking his head

Don't get me started. I could talk about soccer for...a very long time. I think my favorite formation would be a 4-2-3-1, similar to what Bayern Munich plays.

Started playing when I was eight, and played until I was 28, when I tore my hip adductor and decided that maybe that was a sign that it was a young man's game and perhaps I should give up trying to play it like I was still 21.

wanders over to snuggle a PGoD before retreating to my quiet corner and pulling up the first owed thread due here...which would be...HIS.
