Oh, yes, well as long as she's drinking--although the not eating thing is strange. Then again I ate like a bird and still do, so I probably have no room to talk, but if she's got a good appetite... I'm sure it will clear up. :rose:

Oh he did? I'll have to read that one. I seem to always be dragging the river for ideas on how to start a post, but once I get going I'm good. Wait--that's a lie, I was completely stumped in the middle of a post this weekend. Heh.

Oh dear...hope you feel more 'normal' soon! That's never a pleasant sensation. Or so I've been told.

My teeth are actually in pretty good shape, so it's not so bad, but every now and then...one needs a bit of work done.

This dentist is, I'm happy to report, a very good touch with the drill - though a bit heavy-handed with the novocaine.

It's really odd. I can't feel the right side of my nose at all, and I have a long-ish nose, so that's a lot of real estate. :eek:

And, more generally, the right side of my face is numb almost from jawline to eyebrow. It sort of feels like being *really* drunk, without the other associated issues. And without the pleasure of actually having had something to drink...which I would probably spill all over myself at the moment actually trying to drink.

Yes I remember the teeth. Hmph.

I still hate the dentist, regardless, they give me the creeps. They always seem so chipper for people working with needles and drills and scrape-y instruments. Most unsettling.

Mmm. Food. Lunch is sounding appealing, but I think I need to wait until I'm sure I could tell whether I was chewing food vs chewing cheek.
 
I return quietly to the shadowy corner from which I left earlier. The place is still not a flurry of excitement as it sometimes is, so its hard to keep quiet enough to be stealthy. Finally I reach my point of optimum launch and muscles all tense.

I pounce Tess.

"Gotcha!"

Then I see the witch leaving and wave goodbye.

Hello pounced-person. Didn't want to leave you unpounced. It didn't seem fair. And I am kind of restless today. Since pouncing seemed the opposite of rest I figured it was the only option.
