Alice you are the first person in 9 years to call me timothy. thats weeeerd.

oh Brit dose this Iloveme jacket look ok? I think the sleves may be a little in the back.

It always reminds me of that scene where Indiana Jones has to replace the golden idol with the bag of sand...it's a verrry delicate operation, moving him when he's asleep like this. ;)

Going to try - fingers crossed!

I've lived that little scene sooooo many times in my head.

giggles

And then I play the 'Raiders...' theme in my mind as I sneak out of the nursery and skip triumphantly down the stairs!

Success! :D

Success is fun. And switching to the laptop, to the relief of my poor cramped fingers.

Would you prefer to be called Raven?

Unfortunately, I'm not going far.. I've been camping out in baby's room until we can get some kind of schedule established (ha - maybe?). My husband is enjoying it, having the bedroom all to himself. I'm a pillow-hog. :D

But I have been known to do a very quiet little peanut-butter-jelly-time dance! :nana:

fr33ks33k ha.
Coffie, tea, and fresh cinomin buns help your self.

Thanks, Mr. Raven. Hello to you as well.

Unless of course you were laughing at my name, in which case...I don't get the joke.

*chuckle*

Hi, fr33k. How're things?

They're....tolerable. Tomorrow's Friday and payday and I intend on spending entirely too much money on getting intoxicated yet again. Or I may just see if I can polish off the remainder of my Booker's bourbon. I've not decided yet.

nods

Yep. Done that too, and it does help - less disturbance for everyone.
And Mr Brit never complained either!

giggles

Is it ever not when you're here, Alice?

*snickers*

Touché...

Oh god Alice. Don't make him think he's important. It just goes to his head and it's already quite large.

Oh, but then we could put very small hats on him, and it would be endlessly amusing!

I have to say, I miss having a glass of wine or three, on a Friday night! So have a glass for me, will you? I've never tasted bourbon - is it very burn-y?

Once got very drunk on scotch - ugh, won't ever do that again.

Well Alice the first thing that comes to mind is "you can call me flower if you want to"
But Timothy, Tim, Raven, any of them are fine. Its just odd because I use Timothy alot in the semi RL and its just not normaly used. most common for me is my RL last name.

He does -

*cringes* Don't want to jinx it!

He does...seem to be...sleeping more often, and for longer - and when he wakes in the night for a feed or a change, he goes right back to sleep (which is so awesome). I'm hopeful!

Mr. Alice made a point of mentioning this evening that he misses my - ahem - company. We're going to try to arrange at least one bed date over the weekend.

Well, if it gets too weird, just let me know. :rose: I'll be happy to call you whatever you're most comfortable with.

I'm not much for wine, but I'll have a drink on your behalf. This particular bourbon is very burny, mostly because it's 130 proof.

You know, I've found that even if I have a bad experience with a particular liquor, I can still drink it, but I'm more fond of whiskeys and rums than vodkas and gins or tequila. My real trouble is finding booze that will get me drunk without having to drink massive quantities of it.

No fr33ks33k Im not makeing fun of your name. it was supose to be (Hay).
But phone is dummer than I am.

Thank goodness! First real weekend sence Florida. time to party... Oh forgot Im working in the yard tomarrow then oil change, then work. then two days of wekend. oh well.

whispers quietly

Yay!

does a small air punch

As he gets bigger and can take larger feeds, the sleep periods will increase.

nods

And bed dates are awesome.
But...a word from the wise...when little one drops off....go do stuffs right then! Don't be distracted by TV or the internet or anything else because I can guarantee you the moment you decide to then 'go to bed'? A little person will awaken!

One of those laws...

*shudders*

Rum... My folks used to have a big bottle of some kind of coconut rum in the fridge - which they never drank, probably because it was awful - and when I was a naughty teenaged Alice, I used to sneak nips of it and call myself badass.

Bluh - and now I can't stand rum of any type.

And my drink of choice when I started going to the bars was vodka and lime, and now I don't drink vodka very often, either.

But I got very sick on homemade wine once, and I'll drink wine until it comes out my ears, so - I guess that theory's shot to hell.

I have the opposite problem - total lightweight. I have to be careful not to drink anything that goes down too easily.

130 proof! Ouch. That would knock me on my ass! :D

I HATE coconut!

I think I'd give my left big toe and sacrifice all the balance it provides to be a lightweight.

Heh, it definitely has a zing to it. I had 4 shots of it before I went to the bar the other weekend...several drinks there....still took ages for it to hit me. And when it did, it was hardly what I'd call drunkenness. *shrug* Oh well.

You could probably just put regular size hats on me...

*le sigh*

Me too. I have a big fluffy head, my toddler niece has informed me. :D

Will definitely take this advice! ;) I've learned not to take his naps for granted!

And, speaking of -

I really should go to bed while the little guy's down for the count, I suppose. But very hopeful that I will have more and more time - I may even get some posts up in the near future!

Kisses to everyone, thanks for the grins and blushes.
