*Slips in behind her to hug her through the blanket so she'll never know who it is.*

bounces through

hugs them both

bounces out

Is huggled through the blanket, the person unknown but the presence familiar. She smiles and leans back into what she is certain is a beauty....and then is hugged again by an all too familiar bounce...she grins and hugs back.

drops in, ever-present coffee in hand

Wow. I think I need a weekend to rest up from my weekend.

How's everyone, today?

We're good on this side of the world.

Sounds like you've had a busy weekend - my question would be of the good or bad kind?

smiles

smiles, and hugs the Bruja.

Glad to hear things are well over there!

It was a busy weekend indeed, and mostly of the good kind - a long-ish run (at least for me), some office time, a lot of home maintenance. I love having an older house, and it has great bones, but some of the previous owners had odd ideas of how to keep it up. That usually means that when something needs fixed, the first thing I have to do is *un-do* whatever it was that the previous people did to "fix" it before.

Has ninja vanished to the OR. Kisses a pretty Witch on the cheek...hugs the Black Cat...and disappears..

Old houses are awesome. And I understand all too well what you mean.

nods

My family home back in the UK is a few centuries old...some serious upkeep involved there I can tell you!

Yes, I'm sure that the upkeep on your family's home is another level entirely from this place, which is only about 90 years old. A few centuries means no provision for electricity, or central heating, or any of those other lovely modern conveniences, which means that everything has to be...improvised.

You know, he complains, but I think that he likes stomping around in big boots and a tool belt.

So manly.

giggles

Morning darlings!

Well, of course I do. It's gratifying to have a tangible result from one's work.

And good morning, Vi. You're up early!

That may mean I am doomed to forever be uncool. I am not generally a morning person, so breakfast for me is typically closer to lunch for the... normals.

I've become a morning person largely out of necessity. I still don't enjoy them, but certain work obligations happen early, so...

If I had my way, though, I'd stay up until about 2, then sleep until 10.

Giggles and catches her sister, holding her close

I cooked this morning! And I didn't burn down the house! Go me!

Plus, I'm totally jamming to Frank Sinatra which makes it for a great morning indeed.

Yeah, I could easily do that. Even growing up I was always more 'night person' than 'morning person.' It made school interesting at times.

Go you and starting the day with Frank? Awesome plan!

nods

*laughs and rubs his cheek*

It's almost like an excited puppy!

giggles then stops...thinks...

Hmmm, got to say? I am a fan of belly rubs!
