The sun disappears mostly in October and comes back in June. On average Portland gets about 60 full days of sunlight a year. The rest is either raining or partly cloudy. So when the sun is out, everyone is outside. It's a very big deal.

I'll let you have that affair! I'm so pale that I just burn and burn and burn. The sun hates me. So we've decided to hide from each other.

You're quite welcome, of course. And, well, I could have turned it on a couple of weeks ago, but as I said, I'm fairly cheap. I try to wait until May, when possible. nods.

I'm thrifty, myself. I get that - I always wait until the last possible minute to turn the air/heat on.

Wow. That is a big deal. I'm not sun crazy or anything, but that much rain might kill me. It would be great for the skin though, I guess.

I definitely need my warm weather to survive, honestly. I'm a wimp about cold weather. My poor sister moved to Saskatoon Canada...I don't know how she lives up there. It gets down to -20 Fahrenheit in a pretty typical winter there, and colder than that on occasion. It's crazy to me.

Before much longer I'm going to have to find a way to better take advantage of this summer weather. Perhaps some more walking or running just to get my head outside. Nodding again and then scoops up his glass of ice water.

I'm pretty pale, too. But I burn and then it fades to tan. I can get pretty dark if I'm out in all summer.....which I would love...but the OR keeps me in a cage lol.

Im finding some thing nice to say about all the ladys of lit in this room. The only chalange about it is trying to spell. So far all of the ladys have made it real ez to say something.

I love running outside! I hate it when I have to use the treadmill instead. I say take full advantage!
