What about joining a group thread? There are always several of those open. And it's a great way to clear the cobwebs.

You have to find a reliable group of writers first, the right group. And even then, if the wrong person goes AWOL for a short while, it kills the thread. Sighs.

Takes a bit of poking around, but sometimes you can find one, that's pretty decent that won't die right away.

Aaah I have done two group threads and both died sadly. One was a post apocalypse setting and the other a crazy AI ship that took on its own mind and course of action.. Both had a great potential to them but sadly the both died.. I had forgotten about them.
