I'm sure I'll be down again soon. We're hoping to head down next January or February. Waiting another thirteen years to visit again will not work for me!

The thing that surprises me is that the ammo for the guns they were talking about banning is fairly easy to find compared to pistol caliber ammo. They weren't even talking about revolvers, for example, but try to find any .38 special or .357 magnum. It's crazy. And forget about .22LR.

I can barely find 9mm near me, either. Luckily, I don't shoot all that much, so it's not a huge problem, but eventually, my zombie apocalypse stockpiles are going to run low!

I can relate. I don't want to shoot any of the ammo I have because I can't replace it. I have some saved back, in 9mm, .22LR, .38+P and .357 and some 12 gauge shells, but I hate to shoot any of it not knowing when I can get it replaced. On the other hand, my sister's AK-47 takes 7.62 x 39 mm and we can find that just fine, even at about the same price it used to be. *shakes head.*

Yes but you and LCN forget Swords and staff weapons dont need reloading there is a lot to be said for meeting someone at the door holding a 5&half ft SCA style bastard sword.

Well, that's kind of a two-handed weapon. So you wouldn't necessarily be able to open the door and use it. And I don't know about actually wielding it in a dorrway.

Chuckles. Though I do know about wielding a bo-staff. I keep one around specifically because it's a weapon I once trained with.

And I have held it in a doorway nice for keep the other guy out. Mine is styled after the Japinese horsemens sword balanced so that it can be handled onehaned. But better as a two handed weapon. Look up SCA.Org or gulfwars on youtube. many weapons to pick from.
 
Finds herself a quiet place to sit as she sips her drink watching the room and everyone around her. Smiling as she sits there she relaxes in the chair forcing her eyes to stay open before she slowly but surely nods off.
 
I'm going to take off for a bit. But I'll be back later, if I can't sleep for some reason.

He nods and then slips away for now.
