It's okay, gorgeous. Had good talks with a pretty girl. We likely won't volunteer for a while and just save up money if we want to go. Whenever we work events, we focus on the needs of those we care about...those who we would bend over backwards for. And never ourselves. We never end up even getting the chance to play. This one just was the one it took for us to be like "not again..."

Well, it sucks it took that experience to arrive at the decision, but I'm glad that you'll be able to have a better time in the future. You definitely should have a good time and not have to sacrifice your event completely for the sake of others. Bleh!

Argh, I'll be back after awhile. Stuff to do.

A soft smile emerges from her lips as her wings spread out just a bit. She is not one to interrupt a sweet message to come as she looks up to the rafters and squeals, finding a perch up top as she settles down. Her hands and feet are balancing herself on the rafters as her white wings spread wide for all to see.

tilts her head and watches through the long black hair as the angel flutters and spread her wings.. ponders this a moment and smiles softly she says I dont believe we have met before...I am Karen Miss Karen to some kaz to others.. and kazzy to a select few... please dont feel you have to answer, but know that I mean you no harm.... It is not oft times i see an angel.. especially not one so shy .... the words like softening caramel slide form black painted lips....

There just comes a point where you can't be running around cleaning up everyone else's messes forever. So, good for you.

My weekend was decent. Didn't get as much done as I would have liked, but that's sort of the nature of reality. A few decent words written, though, so that's always a plus.

Sees the Tigress waving and then Karen as she speaks her words. Those words felt like heaven to her as she lifts up, spreads her wings and flutters down towards the dark corner. Seeing both hands open, she takes this as a welcoming sign as she flutters down to the floor.
