You’ll find out soon enough that some people around here like to argue for the sake of arguing. Then, if that isn’t good enough, they’ll call you a moron.
We do not.
Moron.

not so sexy, either. My expectations were meet.I was not expecting big swords or anything. But gizmo really? Stay in your universe. Next thing you know they will wonder off into Borge talk and that does not belong here either. (I am the rare sexy nerd. Ok not so rare these days.

1) There was another of yoda’s species on the Jedi council in episode 1...gone as of 2
2 & 3) I believe that “baby yoda” is a clone of yoda. It’s 50 years old (putting it at roughly Vader’s age at this point...so “born” around the time that Sidious had started the clone army under the guise that it was for the republic. As Jango Fett had told Obi Wan, he was contracted by yoda’s former apprentice to be part of it all...someone with pretty easy access to yoda and who could conceivably get access to his dna. Finally, the doctor working with the imperials in the Mandalorian has an arm patch insignia that is from the cloners, worn by both the clones and cloners. My guess is, we will find out that this was how Sidious was testing out the immortality trick learned from Darth Plageius. Create a sustainable, clone body of yourself, and transfer your consciousness into it somehow when on the verge of death...explaining why the emperor appears to be a major character in the last movie.
Hmmm...interesting theory. I forgot about the council "yoda". Still, why put a death bounty on "baby Yoda"?
My guess is its inherent Force ability that makes it a threat, on top of the original Yoda's widely-known Jedi lore.

All known members of that species have been Jedi. They are born extremely strong with the Force and ALWAYS to the light side. Not at all surprising that many would want them dead.

Great. Now I have to go back and watch Attack of the Clones.

I’m telling y’all...it’s cloning that will be the storyline (either this is a clone of yoda, OR they’re looking to clone this legit baby from yoda’s species. Dr. Pershing’s arm patch gives it away.
I did it for you. No need to self-torture unless you absolutely want to verify that stuff (I set out to watch all of the movies in chronological order leading to Rise of Skywalker and watched attack of the clones right before that first Mandalorian episode or I wouldn’t have caught it...it took a long time to push through the prequels...then knocked out Solo and Rogue One back to back with ease, and now about to blast through the original trilogy again)

i don't watch clone wars and the other sidejobs but really want to see this. will i be lost?
I would at least watch Rogue One. It was pretty damn good (I enjoyed the hell out of Solo as well). But you can watch the Mandalorian without any of the others and you’ll be fine.
OK....the Emperor cloned Yoda...to eventually take over his body?
But then for unknown reasons wanted the clone dead?
Maybe I'm off on the timing, but it seems more plausible that The Empire was simply trying to wipe out all traces of jedi.
oh i watch the movies just not the "offshoots".

I am not a big soft toy collector but the child is adorkable.![]()
His season finale was impeccable. As soon as the Guild Master said, "you are a clan of two," I was like...ohhhhhhh
Since it's renewed for a second season (duh) it'd be cool if they brought him back as a separate IG-88 and not just an episode director. Which he might not be able to do since he's going to be tied up doing Thor: Love And Thunder for Marvel Studios.
we have a slightly different adorkable version of him 'round our way:
