The Midnight Forest

Marie:

Laying on the soft ground, her son pressed to her, Marie continued to kiss Thomas, her cheeks flushing with the passion of the kiss. She pressed closer to him, craving his presence like a thirsty woman would water. She did not know if it was natural or not, all she knew is that she loved Thomas, and wanted him so badly.

Thomas:

Slowly pulling away, Thomas focused his eyes on Marie again. He licked his lips lightly, he could still feel Marie's own pressed to his, and his heart skipped a beat. With a loving smile he stood, in a crouch, he offered her his hand. "Do you feel able to walk, my love? I know where a pond is, near by... I want to wash you, and Tristan..."

Marie:

"I think I can walk. Thank you so much, Thomas, my love." Marie felt her heart skip a beat. He loved her. She took his hand and carefully got to her feet, moving as smoothly as possible so as not to disturb Tristan, who had fallen asleep. She looked around and spotted her coat. Cautiously, she reached down and picked it up, wrapping it, one arm at a time, around herself and the child. She looked up and smiled at Thomas, the memory of his lips upon hers still fresh.

Thomas:

Not bothering to collect his cloths, Thomas guided Marie to the pond. It was almost a cirlce in shape, save for a small incurve at the far side. If seen from above, it would have had the appearance of a large toadstool of sorts. Slowly sinking into the water, hip deep, Thomas turned toward Marie, still holding her one hand, he reached up with his other, and supported her, drawing her slowly in with him. The water was pleasantly warm, as it slowly surrounded their bodies.

Marie:

Smiling and letting her coat drop, Marie lowered herself slowly into the water, staying close to Thomas. The water felt wonderful against the slight ache of her muscles. Looking up, into the eyes of Thomas, Marie smiled, and offered him Tristan. "Would you like to wash your son?"

Thomas:

Fatherly love and pride filled Thomas as he reached out and took the child, cradling him in the crook of his arm. He reached down into the water, collecting small hand fulls. He poured them over Tristan, washing away blood and birth fluids. He smiled as the baby stirred and cooed a little. It only took a moment to clean Tristan. And when he was done, he took a step toward the bank of the pond, and settled the sleeping babe down in a nest of soft, lushly green grass. He turned toward Marie then. "You're turn, my lady love." He breathed, a flash of loving passion coming to his eyes as he stepped toward her, his hand dipping underwater. He brought his hand out, with the small amount of water, and poured it over Marie's shoulder, then took another, pouring it over her other shoulder. Then he reached up and ran his hands over her smooth wet skin.

Marie:

Watching father and son, Marie felt as though her her heart would burst with pride. When the baby was settled, Marie heard Thomas say it was her turn and chuckled softly. She felt the first rush of water on her shoulder and nearly moaned in delight. The water, and the hands that used it felt delicious after the exsertions of this morning and last night. Closing her eyes, Marie let herself enjoy the sensations, planning on how to repay the favor to Thomas soon.

Thomas:

Running his hands downward, he caressed Marie's full breasts, coating them with the warmth of the water. They were fuller and heavier than the night before, as they contained her mothers milk for the baby. Smiling up at Marie as his hands lingered over her breasts for a moment longer then needed. Then his hands continued on, to down across her stomach, his touch was light but strong. Still he continued downward, his hands slipping inward from the curves of her hips. With a small pause, his hand touched lightly against her sex. He washed away the mixed blood of her lost virginity, and her birth fluids. Kneeling down, lowering his eyes, he rand his hands along her thigh, inner and outer at once. He was chest deep while in his crouch, eye level with her navel. Lifting his gaze up along her body as he reached downward, he massaged along her calf, then slipped his hands about her other calf, and continued upward. His hands ran up along her hip, and he stood once more, slipping around behind her, to massage her back. His thumbs pointed inward, he ran them along her spine, his fingers webbed outward, along her sides.

Marie:

Letting out a soft moan of pleasure, Marie felt her inner fire swell to Thomas' touch. Her abdominal muscles tightened as much as they could at his touch, her moan turning into a soft laugh. She was ticklish, and the warm water, combined with the carress of his hands made her skin so very sensative. As he crouched, Marie gently ran her fingertips through his hair, watching his eyes carefully. She then moaned again, her senses soaring from the touch of his fingers along her back. "Thomas that Feels amazing, thank you." She said, her breathing deepened within her chest by the desire his touch had awakened.

Thomas:

Continuing the slow massage up along Marie's back, Thomas drew closer to her. He ran his fingertips up along her shoulders again, caressing her neck in his hands, his thumbs kneeding lightly upward, to the base of her scull. He worked and kneeded her neck and shoulders, passion dwelling in his touch. She felt his breath near her ear suddenly. "I love you, Marie." He whispered as his fingers slipped through her hair, massaging her scalp, making her hair damp. Slipping his fingers out of her hair, he collected more water, and ran it through her long hair. He continued until her hair was wetted down, then he massaged his fingers along her scalp again.

Marie

Leaning back into the delicious carresses, Marie let out a sigh of sheer pleasure. Had she been a cat, she would have purred. "I love you Thomas, so much" was the murmer that came out in responce to his words. While her senses were flying, her heart soared. This truely must be paradise. She tilted her head back a bit to keep the water from running into her eyes and smiled.

Thomas:

Looking over Marie's shoulder as he ran his fingers through her hair again, Thomas saw that Tristan had awoken. The baby was quiet as a mouse as it lay there, looking toward them. As if to acknowled Thomas, Trisan cooed. "Hello there." Thomas said with a chuckle as he gave Tristan a small wave, with the tips of his fingers. The baby shook its arm in reply. Thomas stopped for a moment, in awe. "D... Did you see that my love?" He asked in a hush voice.

Marie:

Watching her little son, Marie smiled, her face wearing a look of astonishment. "Yes. . . I did." She leaned back, resting against Thomas' chest and staring in wonderment at the child that she had never even thought to have last night. Such wonderous things happened when you least expected it.

Pixie:

Suddenly appearing above the child, a single pixie looked over toward Marie, then fluttered down to kiss the baby upon the nose. The baby giggled and waved his little hands through the air in glee. The pixie then fluttered over, by Tristan's head and settled down to the grassy ground. It propped its little legs up and rested its arms on its knees, looking at the baby with a soft sigh. Suddenly, another and another appeared about Tristan, doing the same as the first, only taking diferent spots and diferent poses.

Thomas:

Thomas was oblivious to the pixies. He smiled as he watched Tristan giggle, then wrapped his arms about Marie's belly, hugging her close to him. She could feel his mild arousal brush against her hip for a second. Then he turned his head to kiss her neck.

Marie:

Smiling, Marie watched her son with the pixies, enjoying his happiness. She smiled, feeling Thomas' lips upon her neck as she continued to watch Tristan. "He's blessed by the forest, isn't he?" she asked alloud. Paritally to the pixies, and partially to Thomas.

Thomas:

Resting his chin upon Marie's shoulder, Thomas looked at Tristan again. "Aye, he's touched by magic... That is all I can figure... Your grandmother believed that I was imbued with... Something... I never understood..." Thomas slowly ran his hands up and down the length of Marie's slender body. "But, its not fully me... I know it... I have never lost myself like I did last night... Something... Something controled me..." He sounded haunted for a moment, then lightened once more. "But how can that have been a bad thing? Its given me you and Tristan, something to fight for, to live for..."

Marie:

Enjoying the feeling of Thomas' hands upon her, Marie continued to watch Tristan before turning to him and smiling. "If it brought us together, then I thank whoever is responsible, right down to my grandmother, rest her soul. As for whether or not you being possessed was what brought us Tristan, that is a 50 50 chance." She grinned impishly then and splashed him with water. "Besides, you gave yourself something to fight for, it wasn't all just me and Tristan."

Thomas:

Laughing after Marie splashed him playfully, Thomas shook his head, sending water in every direction. He reached out and caught Marie about the waist, and drew her tightly against him, touching chest to chest, he looked into her eyes for but a second, then caught her lips with his. He folded his own over her's, coating them with his love, then drew away, letting her lower lip slip from between his. "And I would fight the gods to stay next to you." He breathed passionately as his hand caught hold of Marie's thigh, drawing it up along his side.

Marie:

Shivering, Marie smiled at Thomas. "And I shall forever be by your side. Tristan, however fast he grows, will be loved, and cherished, by more than just the forest." Marie let him draw her thigh up, her lips meeting his for another kiss. She let her lips linger on his before drawing away slowly, and giving him a mischievious grin. She then wrapped her arms around him and twisted a bit, causing them to both fall back into the water.

Thomas:

"Ahhh!" He cried out in surprise as they both dunked under the water. He flailed his arms like a pinwheel, to no good effect, other than to splash the water all about. For a moment, they were submerged then he punched up from the waters surface, tossing his hair back, he began to laugh as he reached in after Marie, catching her by the arm, he pulled her to her feet. "Hahaha! You rotten little vixen! Caught me completely off guard you did!" He said with a huge grin. He paused for a moment, looking down at his hand, it trailed through the water. He looked up at Marie meaningfully, then splashed her a little, laughing heartilly.

Marie:

Laughing, Marie got to her feet. She looked at the soaked Thomas and laughed even harder. "Thomas, you look so adorable when you're imitating a drowned rat." With that she dived under water to avoid the splash she knew would result from that comment.

Thomas:

"Oh no you don't!" Thomas called out as he dived after Marie. He caught hold of her ankle, and clammored over her, pulling her into an embrace, splushing a little water against her cheek, then let her go to try to make his escape. Tristan was setting up, giggling as he watched his parents, looking much older than he should.

Marie:

Laughing, Marie caught a hold of Thomas' wrist and hooked a foot around his ankle. She looked up, still laughing, and noticed Tristan. She smiled, not caring how old he was. "Thomas, look, he seems to be enjoying this as much as we do." She sighed, releasing Thomas before sliding her arms around his waist.

Thomas:

Looking up, Thomas took a small breath of surprise. "My... He's growing isn't he?!" He quipped, laughing over his own joke. He reached up to fondle Marie's hair, leaning back against her slightly.

Pixies:

Suddenly, the pixies who'd been sitting vigil all around Tristan took to the air, chittering something nervously in their language. A moment later they had scattered, disapearing into the forest all around the pond. The forest took on an eiry silence, nothing made a sound anymore, no frogs croaked, no crickets chirpped, nothing...

Marie:

Smiling as she cuddled closer to Thomas, Marie watched the pixies. When the air felt dead, Marie tensed, and started pulling Thomas towards Tristan. "Something's wrong, Come on, Hurry!" She cried, scrambling in the water to pick up the now much larger Tristan and her coat. She scrambled out of the water and struggled into her coat, tugging Thomas along with her. She wrapped the coat tight around her body, and her son.
