Don’t set the world on fire. From quotes to song it remained a strong line of advice, a warning. But so many had assumed the match would be struck by human fingers rather than the tight grip of the sky.

An asteroid sunk into South Africa off the Cape of Good Hope, instantly obliterating the world of infrastructure and culture the Europeans had introduced to the mangy territory. Railroads were warped, melted, and electricity had flashed off one final time. Waves washed deep inland, sweeping away threatened species, the poachers who hunted them and yet-to-be-discovered tribes.

The tidal forces that followed swarmed, gaining speed until waves consumed Madagascar, on their way to destroy the population centers along coastal India. Only the rocky terrain, a gift from the Himalayas, spared the protected eastern and northern sides. With only an hour of separation, Australia followed suit, lacking the kind of geographical protection offered by their Asian neighbors. And in the same instant, much of the Dutch East Indies were swept away.

Few coasts were safe. But what was worse wasn’t the fireball screaming from the sky or the waves spreading in violent concentric circles; it was the debris thrown into the air, stuck in the sky like white-speckled stars. Over time, even though stars would be virtually impossible to find.

Over the few years that stumbled after the event, the only thing that failed faster than established governments were harvests. Starvation ran rampant, crime exploded and national borders dissolved. The Communists initially proclaimed victory but Anarchy won the day. When it came down to the wire, only the band, tribe, or if you were lucky enough to be penned in, the city you were a part of was all that mattered.

Allen Sparks had earned his Hollywood Public Service badge the year before in 1934, four years after The Collision, two after the US Government began treating the West like a territory and one year after the state government became non-existent. The Wild West had reclaimed its name but people like Allen Sparks were hired to reclaim the street.

It wasn’t that Allen had the credentials. He was available. And he was a resident of the city.

Before the fateful impact, Allen was an actor. He’d found his face more than a few times on the silver screen but he had yet to be labeled a leading man. Jet black hair, looks comparable only to Valentino and a voice ripe for the “talkies”, he was one of many happy to put actors like Chaplin out of work.

But things had changed. Now he was tasked with rooting out undesireables from their homes in Hollywood and to throw them outside the city’s freshly built walls. It took some time to acclimate himself to his new position but he came to accept, and then adore it. The power he held over others combined with the fact that he was one of a few who had the freedom to do almost anything he desired was overwhelming. He’d finally made it in Hollywood.

After arriving to work in the morning, one of the few buildings left that were permitted electricity, Allen was given a card at his desk. It had the apartment complex, a room number and a name. Since she was single and female, he was left alone. Not that he’d need backup to decide whether a single woman would be a threat to the future of the city, Allen stood up and took care his weapon remained at his side. It was a carefully cared for weapon, considering the lack of resources to replace it.

He wasn’t high enough on the caste yet to demand a car, few of which were permitted to run on the street due to fuel shortages. The last transports had come earlier in the year and demand had all but sucked the tanks dry. Horses were needed but they cost food for the people and couldn’t be housed thus virtually all went by foot.

Once at the prescribed place, Allen climbed the stairs three floors until he reached the specific number on the card handed to him. Upon approaching the door he loosened his weapon from its holster should she be housing convicts or squatters. No chances were taken.

Putting away the card, he slipped his hand into his jacket, reaching for his identification. Three hard knocks on the door came one after the other, repetitive in their declaration as he called, “Hollywood Public Service. Open the door or we’ll be forced to make a lawful entry.” Then his hand relaxed, letting his wallet unfold to show his identification card for the peephole in the door. Not only did this prevent her from seeing how many of them were outside her door, it also prevented delay.

“Hollywood Public Service. Open the door or we’ll be forced to make a lawful entry.”

Allen heard the sounds of furniture scraping against the floor, though it was momentarily unclear whether it was being dragged forward to barricade his entry or away to permit it. He heard what sounded like a woman's labored breath.

"Just-" pant- "Just a moment, Sir, I'll be-" pant "just a moment longer," came her bell-like voice, and it may have carried a note of familiarity for him... It seemed like a long time before she was able to get to the door, and then he heard locks click, a padlock open, latches slide.

She opened the door a fraction- not much, as the safety lock permitted a gap of only a few inches, and peered out. He could only see a sliver of her. Platinum hair and round, dark onyx eyes. It was amazing that after the world had been crumbled around their feet for so long she took the time to line her eyes with kohl black. Her skin was porcelain. The fingertips that curled around the door as she looked out were dainty and small.

Even with so narrow a glimpse of the apartment's inhabitant, he may well have guessed her name. Kitty Delaney had been an up-and-comer at the time of The Collision. She wasn't yet one of the big, flashy starlets, but she was one of those fresh young faces that was always undermining their royalty status as the years wore on and the public began to yen for something new.

The door shut again, Allen heard the sound of the safety latch being undone, and then she reopened it fully. Standing in the doorway, the petite woman came only to the middle of his chest, breathing deeply from the exertion of dragging what looked like all of the heaviest pieces of furniture in her home away from the door. Her hair, usually worn in a short bob that was stylish before The Collision, had had long years to grow out, and now fell in gentle waves to the center of her back. She was wearing what had probably once been a very pretty dress- which had since lost its delicate powder blue hue to a grayer one. She took one long look over the man who stood on the other side of the door and then...

Quite unexpectedly, she crumpled against his chest, and burst into sobs, her tiny hands balling into fists around the fabric of his shirt as she clung to his front. "Oh, thank God! Thank God you're here," she sniffled, and after another moment, straightened herself out, a blush rising softly into her cheeks as she dabbed at the black treks of makeup that had fallen over her pale cheeks.

There was a doll-like fragility to her. She smiled apologetically. "Forgive me, only... you must understand. These times are so difficult, so-" a spark of troubled sadness jumped through her eyes- "so dangerous, for a woman living alone."

Allen stood behind the door, tucking away the piece of identification once he heard rustling. At first he thought he was going to have to bust through the door with a solid foot but he stayed his restless thoughts once he heard her voice coming from the other side. It must’ve been the girl he was to track down. Her repeated guarantee of ‘just a moment longer’ bought her more time as it ensured him that she wasn’t distancing herself, running away or attempting something drastic like escape through an opened window. The first look he stole was the slight gap she permitted for her safety. Such latches, or final solutions to a lock, weren’t worth the effort it took to chain them.

Taking one look at the girl he knew it was her. Not only had he remembered the name but he was handed a picture just for verification but this wasn’t a social gathering; neither could he be kind merely because they once shared professions.

When she came toward him he opened his mouth to speak but she did that for him as she backed away, apologizing. When she added that she was living alone he looked at her with an unconvincing eye since such things were for him to find out. One of many.

At last he spoke as he entered the room, “May I come in?” Once inside he allowed himself a brief look around before sending another look her way, “I’m not here to rescue anyone.” With that he set his small briefcase next to a chair, the dirt seemingly blending in with the shoes and the cuffs of his pants. Standing upright, he continued, “I’m here to decide whether or not you’re worthy of remaining within the safety of Hollywood’s walls. I’ll have to ask you a series of questions and report back with what I’ve come up with. However, it seems the most damning one is that you’re apparently not a very active participant for the city. Unless, you can prove to me that isn’t true. Its fairly clear you’re living in squalor.”

“May I come in?”

He asked, stepping into the room without waiting for her reply.

“I’m not here to rescue anyone.”

Kitty chilled at the tone of his voice.

“I’m here to decide whether or not you’re worthy of remaining within the safety of Hollywood’s walls. I’ll have to ask you a series of questions and report back with what I’ve come up with. However, it seems the most damning one is that you’re apparently not a very active participant for the city. Unless, you can prove to me that isn’t true. Its fairly clear you’re living in squalor.”

Yes, that confirmed it. There it was again. That intonation of entitlement, of unconcern. Of authority. A flash of terror flitted through her. What made this guy any different from the raiding parties? The men who broke and entered. Who took what they wanted. Whatever they wanted. Was his title, his wholly imagined superiority, his honor supposed to make him different? She doubted it.

When something huge happens, something so disastrous happens, that the established systems of governance can't do anything about it, when the mask of society that humanity wears over its true face gets knocked askew, there is something very different under it. It was only ever the comfort of civilization that allowed us the veneer of cheerful cooperation, the pleasant facade of upstanding citizenship and concern for the greater good. But what a flimsy veneer, how tissue thin that facade was that lay between us and our own survival instincts.

Now people took what they needed, and while they were at it, they took whatever else they wanted. They would take your food without a flicker of doubt in their conscience. They felt entitled to liberate you of drink or smoke, if you were lucky enough to still have them, because even if only for a moment, they did a little to dull the ache of living. They would turn you out of your own shelter, of your own clothes, without a second thought. And after all that, when you no longer seemed human, they would take you, too, and use you for a moment of pleasure.

"The safety of Hollywood's walls..." What a fucking joke. Kitty couldn't help but smile. "That's what we're negotiating here? For the privilege of me remaining within the safety of Hollywood's walls?" she made a silent huff of amusement and sat languidly down in a chair by the window and looked out of a slit between the boards into the street below.

She was living in squalor. That wasn't saying too much. Her beautiful home had been taken from her with all of her other beautiful things, and this was where she had taken refuge. It was easy to see that the apartment had not always been the haunt of a rising starlet. She had made it as comfortable as she could, but it held no trace of the luxury to which she had ascended before The Collision.

"Fine," she said, sounding far-away, "ask your questions."

Allen looked at her as though she’d committed a moral sin, “If you prefer, I could save us both the time and have you disposed outside of these walls. You’re not far from Jean Harlow so I’m sure the raiders could find some use for you before long. However, if you wish to remain then we will continue.” He was unreserved in his statement and was all to ready to dispose of the girl. It’d save him the effort, time and to be truthfully honest, there were already too many people. Some would be forced out even if they had a valid reason and profession for enhancing the Hollywood camp.

Sure that she’d prefer the walls to the wide open dangers of the outside world, he took a seat on one of her chairs, again uninvited. Leaning over slightly, he opened the briefcase he sat next to the chair and pulled out a few sheets of paper and a clipboard for something to write on. The papers were shuffled in order, pinned against the clip and a pen was uncapped within seconds. Allen looked in her direction one more time.

“Name. Date of Birth. Occupation,” he spoke blandly right off, continuing into the first question without giving her a chance to answer but he’d give her time, “It seems you’ve barricaded yourself in your room during these passing days or weeks. If you’re left alone inside these walls, how can you possibly benefit Hollywood? Movies aren’t being made here anymore, honey, so you’ll have to find another use. Do you have any other talents?”

"However, if you wish to remain then we will continue.”

Kitty tried to keep the shake out of her voice. She was angry, mostly, but under that, she was scared.

"D-dispose of me? Didn't you say "Hollywood Public Service" when you knocked on the door, Sir? Who are you serving if not the public?..." she caught her breath, realizing she was doing a very poor job of keeping her emotions stilled. Then, almost repentently, she murmured "Of course I want to stay."

"My name is Catherine Delaney. I was born in 1908." -quick math reasoned that she must now be 24- "And I used to be in pictures, Mr. Sparks," she went on, looking to see if his demeanor softened any when she used his name, which he had not introduced himself by, which she knew from familiarity with his former career, "Like you did, before you put on that uniform."

"And yes, I've barricaded myself in this room, because Hollywood was benefiting a little too much from my talents." She raised her eyebrows gently, "Surely that's not something you begrudge me? I was trying to protect myself."

“I am,” Allen answered, “from the Hollywood Public Service. Overcrowding, starvation and gangs are a problem within these walls so we’re doing what we can to root out the undesireables, those who would be antagonists to a peaceful future for Hollywood. For that we’re also eliminating those who would rest on their laurels, those who won’t or unwilling to add to the future of the city. The world outside may be falling apart, but that’s no reason we must as well.”

Looking at his sheet one more time he decided to put it away, hardly writing anything on it. There was little to write; so little that he could commit to memory whatever she had to say. Although her recognition of him had endeared him toward her but it wasn’t enough to win over the badge he was wearing. Then with one hand he clasped the case shut as he sat up straight.

“I’m sure you understand the dilemma I have. You’ve barricaded yourself in this room and haven’t added anything to the city’s well-being. Whatever we might have done in the past, its unfortunately over. The Arts have become a dying thing with the exception of the occasional free street performance. But hard times are hard and we have to get on with things. Is there anything you’re willing to commit to the city? Anything you can do? You can’t defend the city from those outside or fight off those who remain within. You haven’t done anything of merit since the city closed in on itself, at least not from what I can see and you’re not attached to anyone. No husband. I guess what I’m asking is, have you married since the state fell apart or are you able to contribute to the city in any way?”

“... Is there anything you’re willing to commit to the city? Anything you can do? You can’t defend the city from those outside or fight off those who remain within. I guess what I’m asking is, have you married since the state fell apart or are you able to contribute to the city in any way?”

Kitty was starting to get anxious. She wasn't sure what she could offer. Before she had left home for the big city, she was part of a big family and her folks had owned a farm. She liked to think that she wasn't completely useless. She could cook and tend a house, she had been the oldest daughter, and until the day she left, her hands had been busy with some bit of domestic work. But nothing that she could use to justify her worth to the city as a whole. Most of her skill- aside from acting- would be of most use to a husband. And she didn't have one of those, either.

She squirmed in her chair and worry showed in her dark eyes.

"Mr. Sparks... I don't enjoy being idle or lazy. God knows I crave the times when this city even resembled civilization, and I would do anything I knew how to restore it to its former glory, or at least to a place where it felt like home again. But I don't know what to tell you. I can't just go out into the streets and start putting things back together. I'm just a woman. You know how dangerous it is for a woman who doesn't have a man to speak for her... I wish I did. But no, I'm not any man's wife."

He understood the girl had little or nothing to offer to the city. It was something that was quite apparent given how she was living. But it wasn’t something he could ignore. If she had no connections to the city or an ability to aid the city with its basic needs, then she wasn’t worth keeping around. She wasn’t worth feeding over another man or woman who were active participants in the city.

The longer Allen thought about what to do, the more he didn’t want to throw her out. They’d both come up the same way and were both about to break out at the same time. There was a kindred spirit there if not only because they were actors, but in this city, who wasn’t. No, there must’ve been something more to it.

With a deep breath Allen decided to offer her a radical proposal, “Look, I’m sure you can see your case to stay here isn’t very strong. And by the guidelines of the Public Service, you should be thrown out of the city. Maybe I’m in a better mood today than others or maybe its because you’ve been an actress but I think I can help you. The rules dictate that you have to either aid the city one way or you must be married. I am sure I can work something out to make it seem like you’re my assistant. From you, I’ll need something. Someone to clean, keep things in order, and do all those things I usually don’t have time for. But I’d want something more.

“My late hours don’t permit me to do much other than my work. Now that we’re cleaning up the streets, removing some of the gangs and the more visible attractions on the streets, like prostitutes, there isn’t much for a man like me to turn to. In exchange for keeping you inside the city, I’d give you permission to share my residence, a food card and relative safety. As I said all I want in return is someone to keep things in order and a woman in bed. If you can accept this, then I’d like you to prove you’re committed to the deal by dropping your dress. If not, my dear, then I’ll have to escort you to the gates.”

After The Collision, Kitty had gone through a spell, torturing herself over what might have been. Most people had, really. That old Kitty would have seen the tragedy in this proposition, would have mourned the romance lost and the charming, enchanted couple they should have been: two people with the world at their feet, enacting a fairy tale.

But that Kitty was long gone, for now it was practicality and a keened survival instinct that ruled. He had asked, where so few did anymore, and that was romance enough. Kitty was a smart woman, she had lasted this long with her health, safety, and freedom. She knew a good deal when she heard one.

As if cued by the mention of the food card, her stomach "grr"ed and she hoped he didn't hear.

"That's a fine offer, Mr. Sparks, you've done a kindness to me," she said softly and nodded her appreciation to him.

And without another word, she stood from her chair. She looked dainty and fragile, a beautiful doll that had been lost or forgotten, whose dress was dirty, whose normally glossy hair was a little askew, but whose china face remained untouched by time.

She turned from him, this scrap of modesty a remnant of habit more than anything else, and her arms bent behind her and caught her zipper, dragging it fluidly down to reveal a deep V of her creamy, pale back, the graceful line of her spine visible to the top of her panties.

She stepped out of her dress and dropped to retrieve it from the floorboards, affording him an appraisal of her round little bottom as she bent. Standing again, she turned to face him, holding the dress in front of her body's willowy beauty for a moment before surrendering its cover and laying it gently over the back of her chair. She stood upright with her eyes downcast, as if for his inspection.

Allen was surprised that she’d made her decision so quickly. Even though the world was throwing off the shackles of the Victorian age and Kitty was an actress, he thought it’d take a little more effort to have her strip down and accept her fate like a Parisian prostitute. Letting her take her own time and injecting patience into his heart, Allen sat, watching Kitty remove the well-worn dress that hung from her shoulders.

With the dress discarded and her standing before him, Allen rose, withdrawing a small pocket knife he kept hidden away inside his jacket. Moving toward her, he displayed the blade as he came near her. He wasn’t about to use it on her nor was it an attempt to frighten. Its purpose was shown in seconds when he stood beside her, one hand gripping the side of her panties and pulling them away from her. Then the blade came down, slow and deliberate as he cut the cloth away until it was cut cleanly from the top to the bottom. Then without a thing holding them up, he let her panties fall to the floor, displaying her. Not needing the knife for her brassier he pocketed the knife, working his fingers so gravity could dominate another piece of her clothing.

Allen looked her up and down then, as if for the first time. It was an inspection but he’d already made up his mind. Power afforded some nice benefits, the latest being an exclusive view of Catherine Delaney, the rising star before everything went to hell. When he wound his way around to her front, he let his eyes linger across her chest, her face before looking to that spot between her legs.

“I think you’ll do fine,” he commented as he disappeared behind her once more. “When was the last time you’ve been with someone?” he questioned, the breath from his voice gently blowing her hair. Then his hands pressed against her skin around her waist. One slid upward along her creamy skin until it trespassed against her breast. As his palm consumed it his other hand dared to drive between her thighs, doing nothing but holding her there. It was almost as if he were trying her out, to see how well his hands would work with her body.

Kitty could see as he held the knife between his thumb and forefinger that he didn't intend to harm her, but it didn't take her long to figure out what he DID intend to do with it. Before the blade ruined a single stitch of her panties, she was steeling herself to be bared to him- her what? Her... partner? No. Her owner? She shuddered a little at the inelegance and lack of beauty in the arrangement. She could feel her panties float to the floor like a petal off a flower. She felt lewd and defenseless, but she tried to keep her chin from crumpling and the tears from sliding down her cheeks by telling herself again and again that this man may be her only hope at survival, may even be able to provide her a decent life. She let the bra slide off her arms and into the floor as he undid it.

She was used to auditions, but not like this. Still, she needed the part.

He circled around her in a way that felt almost predatory, and yet, as coldly businesslike as a factory worker inspecting a product for defects. Despite her best attempts to buoy her mood with reminders of what he could provide her, she couldn't help the growing disappointment that Allen Sparks, budding Hollywood heart-throb and portrayer of many a young Romeo, seemed to have lost his romanticism.

“I think you’ll do fine,”

She didn't know whether to take it as a compliment or not. Her body had once been a little more curvaceous, perhaps, the flare of her hips a little more generous, but she had done the best she could do keep herself fed. She was a little more waifish now, perhaps, but still hauntingly beautiful.

His hand wrapped around one tit and squeezed it like a ripe piece of fruit, his other hand wrapping over her mound and holding her between the legs. It had been too long since a man had touched her. As his fingers closed over her bare sex she became, for the first time, horrifyingly aware, that she was warm, and wet...

The world had since grown hard and any preconceptions of what was expected of him, he knew, had long ago been washed away by the dirt and grime of the city. Life was a bitch but he was working on easing his time with it by finding a little bitch of his own. Not that Kitty was just any average girl. She was someone he looked forward to seeing on the screen back when such a thing mattered. Now he was looking forward to seeing her in bed. Or at least on her couch.

As he patiently, almost lovingly rubbed his hand against her pussy he spoke in her ear, “You do realize I’m only doing this because there is that acting connection between us. Of course it helps that you’re probably the best looking girl left in town.” He held himself there, still unmoving except for the hand against her tit. His thumb working back and forth over her exposed nipple while his other hand continued to run against her pussy.

Then she was without him. He’d pulled away, reappearing in front of her. “Why don’t you get on the couch. I want to see how you’re going to be worth the risk before I commit.” That word now had a whole different meaning outside of a real, true relationship. Then again, relationship was quite a different thing now, too. Sex for safety.

After he’d given her next audition he untied his tie, tossing it on the chair he once sat. His shoes and socks followed, kicked under the same chair. And while he unbuttoned his shirt, his eyes remained on her interested in how it looked, how it moved. When the last of the buttons were undone, he tossed that, along with his jacket, onto the same burdened chair. The button and the zipper of his pants were next as those too, fell away and onto the chair.

Standing before her as bare as she had been for him, it was now clear that he hadn’t lost much since the world changed. Much of the physical strength he’d retained was a job requirement rather than an expectation. The muscles were there, those that were usually hidden underneath the shirts he wore; those muscles one could guess at but rarely see. Then the hand that was against her pussy, he brought it up toward his nose, taking in her scent before his tongue slipped by his lips tasting his hand, tasting her.

His touch was as tender as his voice was not.

“You do realize I’m only doing this because there is that acting connection between us. Of course it helps that you’re probably the best looking girl left in town.”

Again with those back-handed compliments. Perhaps it was just that he didn't know how to let his guard down anymore. A man in his position had to be hard. Vulnerability, a necessary component in any kind of real romantic encounter, would equate in his mind to fatal weakness. But in his own small way, with these oblique courtesies, maybe he was trying to connect. She didn't know, but she couldn't help but wonder if a remnant of kindness still lived in Allen Sparks. If there was, she was going to find it.

"You're not so bad yourself," she said softly, and smiled a little, almost coyly, over her shoulder at him.

His fingers played over her nipples and slid softly against her mound and she cooed softly in pleasure. There was no point in trying to pretend it didn't feel good. He had doubtlessly noticed that she was wet, and it had been a long time since she had been with a man, especially voluntarily. She was almost disappointed when the slight roughness of his touches ceased.

“Why don’t you get on the couch. I want to see how you’re going to be worth the risk before I commit.”

Kitty was getting a little of her feistiness back. She knew he wanted her. He'd been the one who had laid the offer on the table. And for the first time in a long time, there was a spark of hope for an improvement in her meager little life. She wasn't going to show him her fear. She wasn't going to show him her pain. She was going to show him her charm, her temerity, her spirit.

"Mmmm, such a wooer," she said with good-humored irony, a sparkle glinting in her eyes. Her demeanor was beginning to shift, from chary and timid to willing, even flirtatious. She slunk to the couch, her hips flicking with her steps, and laid across it on her tummy, her bottom in the air, her feet drifting into the air behind her, crossed at the ankles.

She watched with interest as he began to shed articles of clothing, realizing as he did that whatever he had lost when the world had gone to hell, it was not sex appeal or muscle tone.

Her eyes softly widened as he brought his hand to his mouth and tasted her. Without realizing it, she shivered all over before she could regain her bravado.

The harsh realities of the world had mixed with his words. It was something that quickly attached to him as soon as he was given a title, as soon as he saw the condition of the world. It wasn’t something to be taken lightly. Time to play, time for jokes; it didn’t exist. Perhaps there was still some of that left behind the tired eyes that had taken in so much over the last few years. That little kitty may be exactly what he needed.

Allen watched her with interest as he discarded those clothes one by one, failing to take his eyes off the girl as she laid in her position. The thought about her and the last time she’d done this ran through his head again. She seemed bold, confident in her moves. Was this how she survived? Either way, it’d be the way she’d survive now. He just hoped she’d be worth the effort and that his plot would hold up against questions or scrutiny from the incorruptable.

Once the last of his clothes had been ditched and he tasted the last part of her he touched, he walked toward the couch. She looked like a few of those banned pictures that somehow made it out of darkened studios. Erotic but not obscene. However, Allen was there to change that as he stood next to her, his cock creeping into the imagined picture near her face.

“We do with what we can,” he answered with a wry smile as his eyes glazed over her body, her bare bottom. He moved toward the opposite end of the couch. With enough room for him, he sat at the end, his hands working with her locked ankles. He unwound them slowly but didn’t let go once they’d been freed. Gliding down her legs and over her thighs, they came to rest on her bare butt. He kneaded her ass briefly before returning his hands to himself.

“Now turn around on your back,” he spoke behind her with a hidden grin. Then he tapped one of her ankles with his hand, “And keep those separate.” Another brief silence interrupted Allen before he added, “Your pussy, Catherine. I might need another taste.”

As his cock bobbed near her face for a moment, Kitty's eyes fixed on it, and in them glinted a sparkle of undisguisable interest. It really had been too long and the temptation of such a handsome and endowed man had her blood pumping hard through her with something other than fear, something that her body was beginning to remember: genuine arousal, playfulness. She let her pink tongue wet her top lip just as he began to walk away, her jet black eyes sparkling after him.

She could make this work. There were worse things she could be forced to do the sake of buying herself a decent standard of living than sexually entertain one of the most promising young actors of the Old Hollywood, now one of the firm hands of a new coda of law that was coming down hard on the corrupt town all around her. She would make it worth his while. She would make it good. Audition for supporting actress and get the lead role.

His hands closed like cuffs around her ankles and then his warm touch slid over her thighs, deliciously, teasingly close to the puffy lips of her sex, and dug softly into the flesh of her ass. She swayed it softly, lifting it receptively into his touch.

“Now turn around on your back, and keep those separate. Your pussy, Catherine. I might need another taste.”

She turned onto her back, giggling, and shyly opened her thighs, the welcome sight of sweet, pink, flesh, opening under his gaze like a flower. Her body radiated a soft heat and a surprisingly soft, clean, feminine fragrance.

"As long as I get to return the favor,"
she murmured, grinning with bright mischief and biting her lip.

Allen Sparks looked at her with a raised brow when she spoke. She was a firecat, something he could only guess at on-screen but now it was something he knew off. Whether she was doing it for the position, for him, none of it mattered. Whores were expensive every night and one couldn’t take them to important parties or places because everyone knew them, everyone had them.

His eyes still trained on hers he let them fall down upon her exposed pussy. He smiled briefly as he cast his eyes upward once more, “I’ll take pleasure in destroying something so beautiful.” Then he returned to her, repositioning himself so he could drop his head between her spread legs.

As his lips touched against her pussy his hands returned to her, sliding underneath her ass and raking his fingernails gently against her skin. Spreading his lips he let his tongue slip from his mouth and run along her pussy, tasting her sweetness for the first time from her source. The first taste demanded another followed by another as he took pleasure in having his way with the young starlet.

Stopping and looking up briefly he saw her breasts, blocking his view of her face but it wasn’t enough to keep him from stealing another taste, another stroke of his tongue against her. Satisfied, he moved upon his knees as he positioned himself between her legs. Leaning forward and over her body he brought his lips to connect with hers, no doubt the scent of her body still on his tongue.
