Boarding Gate

Boarding Gate - Underrated. I thought the story was compelling, enjoyable, and unpredictable, the acting better than expected, and the characters real and convincing.

I enjoyed the banter and rough sex between Argento and Madsen especially.

The pauses inserted by Assayas are well-chosen, often reflecting conflicting emotions in a character, as with the ending.

I suspect a lot of the low ratings are due to someone expecting more of an action movie, and not a slower paced thriller.

The sexual energy is palpable throughout the whole film. Asia Argento & Mike Madsen have good sexual chemistry and they fuck each other roughly throughout the film.

Very arousing.
