And to see which chapter they pertain to, which a respective link? That's what I'd think is most convenient for a moderator.I would like to be able to see all ratings and comments for a single story. Or at least be able to sort the comments by story and date.
looks like it is back up. how are we going to do this?
Have you got some issues? I thought the new site was going to be ready the 4th
PS: in the meantime, I'm preparing a new story..I suggest the other authors to do the same
Ouch.I'd advise to only port worthwhile stories.
Friedman, I believe you mentioned that the site would be backed up to a certain point in the past. Would an editor have the option of "rolling back" to a previous incarnation of a story? Or a moderator, for an individual story.

I was just curious, no hurry
And on the same subject, if possible I'd advise to only port worthwhile stories...I mean, It makes little sense to port hundreds of stories with 1-2 posts each.
Idk to be honest.Because from a programing standpoint it would be far easier to take everything then to pick and choose.
Typically people add to stories which are easier for them to understand, such as stories which pander to a flat, one-off fetish and superficial pop culture. Longer stories can also be a product of users who aim for quantity rather than quality. High-concept stories which challenge writers more tend to get ignored, and end up with very few posts. These stories also require more brainstorming beforehand. New stories whose potential has had very little time to mature also have very few posts. New writers have shorter stories with fewer posts for multiple reasons: They've had less time to write stories. Other users gravitate towards "safe" options of other users who are familiar to them. These sorts of reasons might make it sound like abandoning stories based on length is kind of insensitive. Sort of like an abortion, or a popularity contest.Idk to be honest.
Maybe there's an easy way to identify those 1\2\3 posts stories and either do not import or delete them (thereafter).
Friedman, will the new site properly support cyrillics? I have a plan to try start few Russian and\or Ukrainian stories and invite friends to contribute

You don't need to add any; jakelyon, for instance, is a (self-proclaimed) active Mod on the site (I've had lots of good, frequent, positive contact with him) who is in the position & would do the job well. All that need be done is removing the Mods (1 each on site & Forums) who are violating rues &/or doing the job wrong.
Also, it doesn't need to relate to any of the issues you talked about with anyone! It is something different that should/shouldn't be on the site, which is the thread subject!
